Appropriate Research Design

Good research should have a logical order and an appropriate research design and observe the ethical criteria of research. Conducting research with lower standards may amount to research misconduct. Authors are responsible for the entire scientific content and the accuracy of the bibliographic information.

Data Analysis

Data should be properly analyzed, inappropriate analysis is not necessarily a misconduct but falsification and manipulation of data is a wrong behavior.

Access to Data

Data used to support the findings of the study should be available upon request from the relevant author.

Studies Related to Humans and Animals

All articles that report the results of experimental research related to human subjects should contain a statement that confirms informed consent from each subject or their guardian. All animal or human studies should be used after approval of the experimental protocol by the local ethics committee.

Conflict of Interest

o Conflict of interest may not always be obvious and may affect the judgment of the author, reviewers and editors.
o These cases have sometimes been described as cases that when revealed later, mislead or deceive the reasonable reader.
o Examples of conflict of interest may be personal, commercial, political, academic or financial. "Financial" interests may include employment, research funding, stock or share ownership, payment for lectures or travel, consulting and company support for employees.
o Submitting a conflict of interest form is mandatory in this journal and authors should mention any conflicts of interest between authors or organizations in the conflict of interest form. (See the journal forms menu)

Peer Review Process

o This journal uses double-blind peer review, meaning that both the reviewer's identity for the author and the author's identity for the reviewers are anonymous.
o To facilitate this, authors should ensure that their articles are prepared in such a way that their identity is not revealed.
o Authors have the right to contact the editor if they do not want their article to be reviewed by a specific reviewer due to a possible conflict of interest.

Archiving Policy

o The archiving policy of the Journal of Stylistics and Analysis of Persian Poetry and Prose Texts expresses the journal's strategy and policy towards archiving and filing versions of articles by authors in spaces such as personal and organizational web pages and various subject repositories.
o Stylistics and Analysis of Persian Poetry and Prose Texts is published under an open access license (Open Access) and accordingly articles can be made available immediately according to the specific license of the journal (CC-BY 4.0). If an author has published an article under an open access license, the author is authorized by this journal to share the published version instead of the accepted handwritten versions at the time of publication.
o Authors can also use the abstract and citation information (such as title, author name, publication date) of their article in any place and at any time, including social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs and Twitter, provided that, if possible, a link to the article is added. Preferably, the link should include the digital object identifier (DOI) that is found in the citation information for the article online. The accepted version may be placed on: the author's personal website and/or repository or archive of the author's company/institution.

Publication Schedule

Stylistics and Analysis of Persian Poetry and Prose Texts is published monthly and publishes twelve issues a year. All published articles will be available on the journal's dedicated website from the beginning to the present.

Privacy and Confidentiality

o Confidentiality should be observed in all processes of reviewing the article and by all roles.
o All articles should be reviewed with confidentiality.
o Reviewers also have the right to privacy, which the editor should respect. If there is a suspicion of dishonesty or fraud in the article, confidentiality may be violated, but otherwise it should be observed.
o In addition to authors and reviewers, editors are prohibited from disclosing information related to articles (including receipt, content, status in the review process, reviewer criticism, or final fate).
o Editors should explain to reviewers that the articles submitted for review are the private property and assets of the authors and reviewers and editorial staff should respect the rights of the authors by refraining from public discussion or appropriation of the authors’ works before publishing the article.
o Reviewers are not allowed to make a copy of the article for themselves and are not allowed to share it with others unless the secretary or editor allows them.
o Also, without the permission of the reviewer, author and editor, review and review comments should not be published publicly.

The Journal of Stylistics and Analysis of Persian Poetry and Prose Texts provides free and immediate access to its content. All articles in this journal are published under the International Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) which allows use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and reproduction in any medium or format as long as the original author (s) and source are properly cited. Under the open access license, authors retain the right to print for the content of their articles, but allow others to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute and/or copy the content (as long as the original authors and source are properly cited and referenced to the original source).
In this journal, authors retain all rights (including printing rights) unlimitedly.

Correction or Retraction of Articles

To maintain the integrity of the scientific and academic records, sometimes the journal may be forced to publish a correction or retraction of an article published in the journal. According to the agreed norms of the academic community, this is usually done by publishing an “Erratum” or “Retraction” and without making changes to the original article and only by publishing a new article that has a highlight of Erratum or Retraction. The original article remains in the public domain and should usually be indexed in the next Erratum or Retraction. In exceptional cases where the contents of the article are not correctable, we may have to remove the contents from our website and archive sites. It may be necessary for the original author (s) to comment on the published article, make minor corrections to the published articles. It will only be acceptable if the corrections do not affect the results or conclusion of the article.
• Erratum
Changes in published articles that affect the meaning and outcome of the article, but do not invalidate the whole article, may be corrected by the editor or editors, by publishing an Erratum (correction) indexed and related to the original article. Changes in the authorship of published articles are corrected by Erratum.
• Retraction
If the scientific information in an article is significantly endangered in rare cases, it may be appropriate to retract the published articles. In these cases, the journal’s decisions should be in accordance with the COPE retraction guidelines. Retracted articles are indexed and referenced to the original article.
