Writers of this essay have studied the conjunctions such as "if, otherwise (but), unless "and shown that there were three types of if condition with different structure and meaning. The research also indicates the subordinating phrases they made like "if…then "or "if…if not or unless "in selected Persian literary proses until 14th century. It is shown that there were many different complex sentences with the various subordinators which each of them expressed quite specific meaning. Some of these structures have still remained; some changed or faded during the time. The research can help scholars to define the time of historical works as well as reanimating these structures to make the contemporary Persian literature wealthierگام نخست در فهم و بررسی میراث ادب فارسی، شناخت ویژگیهای زبانی متون است. حروف در ساختمان جمله به عنوان بزرگترین واحد زبانی ، گاه نقش پیوند و وابسته سازی دارند؛ خصوصاً در جمله های مرکب،کارکرد ویژه ای دارند. این مقاله با بررسی حروف ربط « اگر، اگرنه و مگر که» نشان داده است که حروف ربط« اگر» و «و اگر نه» سه نوع ساخت داشته اند که زمان فعل در هر کدام متفاوت بوده است. همچنین پیوندهای ربطی مانند « اگر...تا»، « اگر...باری»، « اگر...اگر نه»، « مگر...اگر نه» و... در متون منتخب نثر تا قرن هفتم هجری، وجود داشته اند که هر یک کارکرد خاصی داشتند و معنای متفاوتی را میرساندند . بعضی از آنها در طول زمان باقی مانده و بعضی جایگزین گروه دیگر با معنایی نزدیک به آن شده و گروهی هم از میان رفته اند. میتوان از این دست پژوهشها در تعیین تقریبی زمان آثار و غنی تر کردن زبان فارسی معاصر بهره برد.آثار نثر فارسی, دستور زبان تاریخی, جمله مرکب, حروف ربط , وجه فعلPersian literary proses, historical grammar, conditional sentence, coordinating conjunctions, verb tensehttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/6.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/6.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/سیر تحول ساختارهای ربطی با حروف«اگر، مگرکه و اگرنه» تا قرن هفتم به منظور تشخیص سبک متون منثور در قرون مختلفhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/The transformation of conjunctions "if, or and unless " up to 14 th century in Persian literary proses
