Within this framework, the Persian poetry of the Indian subcontinent, owing to its linguistic diversity, rich imagery, and the interaction between Persian and Indian cultures, offers significant potential for stylistic investigation. The present study aims to analyze the linguistic, literary, and intellectual styles of the ghazals of Muhammad Hasan Qatil Lahori and to identify the distinctive features of his poetic style. METHODOLOGY: This study adopts a descriptive–analytical approach based on library research and documentary analysis. The statistical population consists of the Divan of Muhammad Hasan Qatil Lahori"s ghazals, edited by Zahida Parveen and published by the University of Lahore, Pakistan. FINDINGS: The findings indicate that, although Qatil is regarded as one of the Persian-speaking poets of the Indian subcontinent, he demonstrates remarkable mastery of the Persian language. His poetic language is clear, fluent, and readily comprehensible, showing little evidence of linguistic complexity or obscurity. Rather than reflecting the intricate and highly imaginative characteristics typically associated with the Indian Style (Sabk-e Hindi), his poetry exhibits a stronger affinity with the Iraqi Style (Sabk-e Iraqi). The clarity of imagery, simplicity of expression, and avoidance of excessive rhetorical complexity bring his poetic language closer to the classical and balanced tradition of Persian poetry. At the intellectual level, the dominant themes of his poetry revolve around love, Qalandariyyat (antinomian mystical motifs), and mystical thought. CONCLUSION: The results demonstrate that Qatil Lahori employs a balanced combination of colloquial vocabulary, archaic Persian expressions, and Arabic loanwords in his poetic language. In certain instances, he also introduces creative lexical innovations, although such examples are relatively limited. With regard to poetic music, the Ramal metre is the most frequently employed metrical pattern in his poetry, while verbal radif (refrain) and sajʿ-e mutarraf constitute the most prominent musical devices. Lexical repetition, semantic opposition (antithesis), and mora"at al-nazir (semantic correspondence) are likewise among the most recurrent stylistic features of his poetic language. At the rhetorical level, emphatic simile (tashbih-e baligh) and explicit metaphors (isti"arah musarrahah) serve as his principal techniques of imagery. However, the use of uslub al-mu"adalah (analogical parallelism), one of the hallmark features of the Indian Style, is not widespread in his poetry. At the intellectual level, his poems primarily focus on themes such as the description of the beloved, nature, love, mystical concepts, complaints against the vicissitudes of time, and Qalandari motifs.زمینه و هدف: در پژوهشهای معاصر ادبیات فارسی، سبک‌شناسی نقش اساسی در تحلیل سطوح زبانی، بلاغی و فکری آثار شعری ایفا می کند. در همین راستا، شعر فارسی شبه قاره هند بدلیل تنوع زبانی، غنای تصویری و تعامل میان فرهنگ ایرانی و هندی، از ظرفیت بالایی برای بررس‌های سبک‌شناختی برخوردار است. هدف این پژوهش، تحلیل سبک زبانی، ادبی و فکری غزلیات محمدحسن قتیل لاهوری و تبیین ویژگی‌های سبکی او میباشد. روش مطالعه: در پژوهش پیش رو که بشیوۀ توصیفی- تحلیلی بر مبنای مطالعات کتابخانه ای و روش سندکاوی انجام خواهد شد، جامعه آماری پژوهش، دیوان غزلیات شاعر تصحیح زاهده پروین در دانشگاه لاهور پاکستان است. یافته های پژوهش: یافته های پژوهش نشان میدهد که در سطح زبانی، با وجود آنکه قتیل از شاعران فارسی‌گوی شبه قاره هند بشمار میرود، اما تسلط قابل توجهی بر زبان فارسی دارد؛ بگونه ای که زبان شعری وی ساده، روان و قابل فهم بوده و از پیچیدگیهای زبانی و ابهام در اشعار وی اثری نیست. سبک شعری قتیل لاهوری بیش از آنکه به ویژگیهای سبک هندی مانند تعقید و خیال‌پردازیهای دور از ذهن نزدیک باشد، به سبک عراقی گرایش دارد. در اشعار او، وضوح تصویر، سادگی بیان و پرهیز از پیچیدگیهای افراطی بلاغی قابل مشاهده است و همین امر موجب نزدیکی زبان شعری او به سنت کلاسیک و معتدل شعر فارسی شده است.در سطح فکری نیز مضامین غالب اشعار او بر محور عشق، قلندریات و اندیشه های عرفانی شکل گرفته است. نتایج پژوهش: نتایج پژوهش نشان میدهد که قتیل لاهوری در کاربرد زبان شعری، از تلفیقی متعادل از واژگان عامیانه، اصطلاحات کهن فارسی و واژگان عربی بهره برده و در برخی موارد نیز به واژه سازی‌های خلاقانه دست زده است؛ اما بهره گیری از این نمونه ها و شواهد چندان زیاد نیست. از نظر موسیقی شعر، بحر رمل بیشترین بسامد را در اشعار او دارد و از میان عناصر موسیقایی، ردیفهای فعلی و سجع مطرف نقش برجسته تری ایفا میکنند. همچنین تکرارهای واژگانی، تقابلهای معنایی (تضاد) و مراعات‌النظیر از شگردهای پرتکرار در ساختار زبانی شعر او بشمار میروند. در سطح بلاغی، تشبیه بلیغ و استعاره های مصرحه نیز از ابزارهای اصلی تصویرسازی او محسوب میشوند؛ اما استفاده از اسلوب معادله بعنوان یکی از شاخصه های مهم سبک هندی، در اشعار او گسترده نمیباشد. در سطح فکری، اشعار قتیل لاهوری عمدتاً در محورهایی چون وصف معشوق، طبیعت، عشق، مضامین عرفانی، شکایت از روزگار و مضامین قلندری شکل گرفته اند.محمد‌حسن قتیل لاهوری. سبک‌شناسی. سطح زبانی. سطح ادبی. سطح فکMuhammad Hasan Qatil Lahori, Stylistics, Linguistic Level, Literary Level, Intellectual Level.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2057.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2057.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/بررسی سبکی اشعار محمدحسن قتیل لاهوری شاعر فارسی زبان هندhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/A Stylistic Study of the Poetry of Muhammad Hasan Qatil Lahori, a Persian-Language Poet of India
