The central question is whether Arghun’s poetry merely reflects the social transformations of the Constitutional period or actively functions as a linguistic act contributing to the formation and consolidation of a new female discourse. METHODOLOGY: The research employs a descriptive‑analytical approach based on textual analysis and linguistic criticism. By analyzing metaphors and exploring the social and communicative functions of poetry, the study investigates the discursive components related to the representation of women in Arghun’s poems. FINDINGS: The findings reveal that several prominent themes emerge in Arghun’s poetry, including the transition from silence to agency, critique of patriarchal family structures, emphasis on women’s education and awareness, expressions of feminine patriotism, advocacy of social justice, and the integration of lyrical expression with social action. CONCLUSION: The results indicate that Arghun redefines prevailing concepts of womanhood and constructs a self‑aware and active female subject within the public sphere. Her poetic language functions not only as a medium for emotional expression but also as a tool for persuasion, education, and social protest.
