The figurative language in Risalat al-Tayr is the linguistic and semantic backbone of the work and transforms the text from a mere didactic expression into an aesthetic-mystical experience. Therefore, the figurative language in this work can be explained from two fundamental aspects: stylistics and semantics. Because in Risalat al-Tayr, figurative language does not merely have a narrative function or a cover for the story, but rather acts as a generator of meaning; and plays a fundamental role in shaping, organizing, and expanding the semantic world of the text. METHODOLOGY: This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and focusing on qualitative content analysis, extracts examples of imaginary figures from the treatise of al-At-Tir and then analyzes them using the conceptual tools presented in this framework (angle of analogy, type of addition, intention, nature of the pseudo-face, symbolicity, and final function). FINDINGS: Eloquent similes and symbolic metaphors are the most frequently used imagery in this work. The angle of similes is often artistic and bizarre, and the figurative additions play a symbolic rather than an implied role. The pseudo-aspects are mostly tangible, which indicates Ghazali"s attempt to objectify and make the mystical cynicism tangible. The imagery in this book ultimately has a positive function, leading to the creation of stable symbolic images (such as the Simorgh, the desert, the nest) and forming a unified network of mystical meanings. CONCLUSION: The results of the research show that the imagery in the treatise Al-Tayr not only has an aesthetic function, but is also an essential tool for Ahmad Ghazali in conveying mystical concepts and creating his symbolic language; it forms the linguistic and semantic backbone of the work and transforms the text from a mere didactic expression into an aesthetic-mystical experience; in which poetic images are fully at the service of deepening the concepts.زمینه و هدف: پژوهش حاضر به تحلیل ساختاری و کارکردی صور خیال (تشبیه، استعاره، کنایه و مجاز) در «رساله الطیر» احمد غزالی میپردازد و هدف اصلی آن تبیین این مسئله است که غزالی چگونه از این ابزارهای بیانی نه به عنوان آرایه هایی تزئینی، بلکه به مثابۀ سازوکاری بنیادین برای عینیت ‌بخشیدن به مفاهیم انتزاعی عرفانی و خلق «زبان رمزی» یکپارچه بهره برده است. صور خیال در رساله الطیر، ستون فقرات زبانی و معناشناختی اثر است و متن را از یک بیان تعلیمی صرف به یک تجربۀ زیباشناختی-عرفانی تبدیل میکند. از این رو،صور خیال در این اثر از دو وجه بنیادین سبک شناسی و معنا شناسی قابل تبیین است. زیرا در رسالۀ‌الطیر صور خیال صرفاً کارکرد روایت پردازانه یا پوششی برای داستان ندارند، بلکه به منزلۀ عناصر مولّد معنا عمل میکنند؛ و در شکلدهی،سازماندهی و گسترش جهان معنایی متن نقش اساس دارند. روش مطالعه: این پژوهش به روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با تمرکز بر تحلیل محتوای کیفی، مصادیق صور خیال را از رساله الطیر استخراج و سپس با ابزارهای مفهومی ارائه شده در این چهارچوب (زاویۀ تشبیه، نوع اضافه، غرض، ماهیت وجه شبه، نمادین بودن و کارکرد نهایی) واکاوی میکند. یافته ها: تشبیه بلیغ و استعاره های نمادین پرکاربردترین صور خیال در این اثر هستند. زاویۀ تشبیهات غالباً هنری و غریب است و اضافات تشبیهی بیشتر نقش سمبلیک دارند تا تلویحی. وجوه شبه عمدتاً محسوس هستند که نشان از کوشش غزالی برای عینی‌سازی و ملموس‌سازی سیروسلوک عرفانی دارد. صور خیال در این کتاب در نهایت کارکردی اثباتی داشته، به خلق تصاویر نمادین پایدار (مانند سیمرغ، صحرا، آشیانه) می‌انجامند و شبکه ای یکپارچه از معانی عرفانی تشکیل میدهند. نتیجه گیری: نتایج پژوهش نشان میدهد که صور خیال در رساله الطیر نه تنها کارکرد زیبا شناختی دارند، بلکه ابزار اساسی احمد غزالی در انتقال مفاهیم عرفانی و ایجاد زبان رمزی او هستند؛که ستون فقرات زبانی و معناشناختی اثر را تشکیل داده و متن را از یک بیان تعلیمی صرف،به یک تجربه زیباشناختی-عرفانی تبدیل میکنند؛که در آن تصاویر شاعرانه کاملاً در خدمت تعمیق مفاهیم قرار گرفته اند.احمد غزالی, رساله الطیر, صور خیال, نماد, بلاغت عرفانیAhmad Ghazali, Resalat al- Teir, Figures of Speech, Symbol, Mystical Rhetoric.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1996.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1996.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل کارکردهای زیباشناختی و عرفانی صور خیال در رساله الطیر احمد غزالیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Analysis of Mystical and Esthetic functions of imagery in Resalat al-Teir of Ahmad Ghazali
