Sultani Kermanshahi is one of the prominent poets of this period in the field of qasida composition. His divan constitutes a rich treasury of poetic responses and imitations of at least eighteen earlier poets. The aim of this article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the scope, quality, and different levels of his influence from these poets—on linguistic, literary, and intellectual levels—and to examine how tradition and innovation are combined in his divan. METHODOLOGY: This study employs a descriptive–analytical method based on library resources and manuscript copies of Sultani Kermanshahi’s divan. Through a comparative examination of numerous paired poems (Sultani’s qasidas and the qasidas he imitated), the research analyzes influence across three levels: linguistic, literary, and intellectual. FINDINGS: Sultani’s influence from earlier poets is extensive and profound at all three levels. At the linguistic level, he carefully reproduces their meters, rhyme schemes, refrains, and syntactic structures. At the literary level, he adopts their imagery, motifs, and rhetorical techniques—from Khāqānī’s complexity to Farrukhī’s simplicity. At the intellectual level, he integrates Nāser‑e Khosrow’s philosophical worldview, Sanā’ī’s mysticism, Farrukhī’s panegyric orientation, and Saʿdī’s emotional richness with Shi‘i thought and the sociocultural needs of the Qajar era. CONCLUSION: In the process of iqtifāʾ (poetic following), Sultani Kermanshahi does not merely engage in passive repetition or imitation; rather, through a deep understanding of the capacities of Persian poetry, he achieves a creative re‑creation within the framework of tradition. By synthesizing the linguistic, literary, and intellectual dimensions of multiple earlier poets, he emerges not as a mere imitator but as a figure who reconnects the missing links of the qasida tradition and plays a significant role in its continuation and revival during the Qajar period.زمینه و هدف:سبک بازگشت ادبی در ایران با رویکردی احیاگرانه به تقلید از شیوۀ شاعران بزرگ قرون پیشین پرداخت. سلطانی کرمانشاهی از شاعران برجستۀ این دوره در عرصۀ قصیده سرایی است که دیوان او گنجینه ای از استقبال و اقتفا از دست‌کم ۱۸ شاعر متقدّم است. هدف این مقاله، تحلیل جامع دامنه، کیفیت و سطوح گوناگون تأثیرپذیری او (در سطوح زبانی، ادبی و فکری) از این شاعران و چگونگی تلفیق سنّت با نوآوری در دیوان اوست. روش‌شناسی:این پژوهش با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با بهره گیری از منابع کتابخانه ای و نسخ خطی دیوان سلطانی کرمانشاهی، به بررسی تطبیقی جفت‌شعرهای متعدد(قصاید سلطانی و قصاید مورد تقلید) در سه سطح زبانی، ادبی و فکری پرداخته است. یافته ها:تأثیرپذیری سلطانی در هر سه سطح، گسترده و عمیق است. در سطح زبانی او وزن، قافیه، ردیف و ساختارهای نحوی شاعران پیشین را به دقت بازتولید کرده است. در سطح ادبی صور خیال، موتیف‌ها و تکنیک‌های بلاغی آنان (از دشواسازی خاقانی تا سادگی فرخی) را به کار گرفته است.در سطح فکریجهان‌بینی فلسفی ناصرخسرو، عرفان سنایی، رویکرد مدحی فرخی و غنای عاطفی سعدی را با تشیّع و نیازهای عصر قاجار تلفیق کرده است. نتیجه گیری:سلطانی کرمانشاهی در فرایند «اقتفا»، صرفاً به تکرار و تقلید منفعلانه اکتفا نکرده، بلکه با درک عمیق از ظرفیت‌های شعر فارسی، به «بازآفرینی» خلاقانه در چارچوب سنّت دست زده است. او با تلفیق سطوح سه گانۀ زبانی، ادبی و فکری شاعران متعدد، نه یک مقلّد صرف، بلکه پیونددهندۀ حلقه های مفقود سنّت قصیده پردازی به شمار میرود و نقش مهمی در استمرار و احیای این سنّت در دورۀ قاجار ایفا کرده است.تقلید, سلطانی کرمانشاهی, سبک بازگشت ادبی, تأثیرپذیری, استقبال, شاعران متقدم.Imitation, Sultani Kermanshahi, Return literary style, influence, poetic response, earlier poets.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1987.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1987.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تقلیدهای سلطانی کرمانشاهی از شاعران متقدمhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Sultani Kermanshahi’s Imitations of Earlier Poets
