Literary devices (verbal and spiritual) are not essential and necessary features of prose, however, in literary prose, these devices have a more or less significant presence, depending on the level of complexity of the prose. In this context, the following essay seeks to examine the prose of one of the prominent and late contemporary researchers and authors, Seyed Jafar Shahidi, in terms of style and structure, and thereby show the reader the extent of his influence and evolution in the field of scientific (academic) prose. METHODOLOGY: The method of studying the aforementioned subject is analytical-descriptive, in that we will first categorize it by taking notes from library sources, especially the author"s prose works, and then analyze his style of speech at three levels: linguistic, literary, and content. FINDINGS: The research findings show that: Seyed Jafar Shahidi"s prose is an outstanding and clear example of clean prose and the language is the standard for writing the correct scientific (academic) research and publications. Therefore, his prose regarding various ways: language structure (choosing appropriate Persian and Arabic vocabulary, combinations, and terms), sentence construction (use of regular and non-repetitive verbs, precedence and backwardness of sentence elements under the influence of "grammar" and "meaning" relationships), literary structure (moderate and subtle use of some elements), as well as accuracy, truth-seeking, and scientific fairness, and finally the power of analysis and argumentation, and reliance on reliable sources and references, can be considered simple, eloquent, and progressive. CONCLUSION: In a general evaluation of Professor Seyed Jafar Shahidi"s prose, it should be said: His prose is simple and understandable in terms of language structure and choice of prose words, and is free from verbal and technical complexities. In terms of content, it includes historical, religious, and analytical topics. In the field of scholarly prose, Shahidi"s writings can be considered a continuation of the prose of great masters such as Abdolhossein Zarrinkoob, Gholamhossein Yousefi, and Eslami Nodooshan. In addition, some seminary (Arabic) signs are also visible in it. the Persian spelling and orthography of the master"s prose is based on the book Rasm-ul-Khath by Dr. Khosrow Farshidvard. And finally, in the field of literary-artistic prose construction and presentation, her Persian translation of Nahj al-Balagha is reminiscent of Saadi"s "Golestan" and a prime example of contemporary technical prose, in the sense that, apart from its short sentences being beautifully configured with "sajja", it also benefits from other expressive and creative devices.زمینه و هدف: نثر، سخنی است که با «نظم» سنجیده میشود، و آن کلامی است که از ویژگیهای نظم (وزن و قافیه) خالی باشد. آرایه های ادبی (لفظی و معنوی) از خصیصه های حتمی و ضروری نثر نمیباشد، با این حال در نثر ادبی این آرایه ها ـ بر حسب میزان تکلّف نثر ـ کمابیش حضوری چشمگیر میگیرند. با این زمینه، جستار پیشرو، در پی آن است تا نثر یکی از محققان و نویسندگان برجسته و فقید معاصر یعنی سیدجعفر شهیدی را از حیث سبک و ساختار مورد بررسی قرار داده و به این وسیله میزان تأثیرگذاری و تحول وی در حوزۀ نثر علمی (دانشگاهی) را به خواننده بنمایاند. روشها: روش بررسی موضوع یاد شده، تحلیلی ـ توصیفی است، بدین طریق که نخست با یادداشت‌برداری از منابع کتابخانه ای، بویژه آثار منثور نویسنده، آن را دسته بندی کرده و آنگاه سبک گفتار وی را در سه سطح: زبانی، ادبی و محتوایی تحلیل خواهیم کرد. یافته ها: یافته های پژوهش نشان میدهد که: نثر سیدجعفر شهیدی نمونه ای برجسته و روشن از نثر پاکیزه و زبان معیارِ درست‌نویسی تحقیقات و تتبّعات علمی (دانشگاهی) است. از همین رو نثر وی را میتوان از جهات گونه گون: ساخت زبان (انتخاب واژگان، ترکیبات و اصطلاحات مناسب فارسی و عربی)، ساخت جمله (استفاده از افعال بجا و غیرتکراری، تقدیم و تأخیر ارکان جمله تحت تأثیر مناسبات «دستور زبان» و «معانی»)، ساخت ادبی (بهرمندی معتدل و نامحسوس از برخی آرایه ها) و نیز دقّت، حقیقت جویی و انصاف علمی و بالاخره قدرت تحلیل و استدلال و تکیه بر منابع و مآخذ معتبر، نثری ساده، شیوا و پیشرو به شمار آورد. نتیجه گیری: در یک ارزشیابی کلی از نثر استاد سیدجعفر شهیدی باید گفت: نثر وی به لحاظ ساختار زبان و انتخاب واژگان نثری ساده و قابل فهم و عاری از پیچیدگیهای لفظی و فنی است؛ به لحاظ محتوا در برگیرندۀ موضوعات تاریخی، مذهبی و تحلیلی است. در حوزۀ نثر محققانه، نوشته های شهیدی را میتوان دنباله رو نثر استادان بزرگی چون: عبدالحسین زرینکوب، غلامحسین یوسفی و اسلامی ندوشن دانست، ضمن این که بعضی نشانه های حوزوی (عربی مآبی) نیز در آن نمایان است. املای فارسی و رسم‌الخط استاد، نیز، براساس دستورالعمل خسرو فرشیدورد استوار است. و بالاخره در حوزۀ ساخت و پرداخت نثر ادبی ـ هنری ترجمۀ فارسی وی از نهج‌البلاغه یادآور «گلستان» سعدی، و نمونه ای اعلا از نثر فنی روزگار حاضر است، به این معنا که به غیر از اینکه جمله های قصار آن به زیبایی تمام با «سجع» پیکربندی شده از دیگر آرایه های بیانی و بدیعی نیز بهره های نوظهور یافته است.نثر, تحلیل سبک شناسانه, استاد فقید سیدجعفر شهیدی.Prose, Stylistic analysis, Late Professor Seyed Jafar Shahidihttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1983.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1983.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/بررسی سبک‌شناسانۀ نثر علمی ـ ادبی استاد فقید سیدجعفر شهیدیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/A Stylistic Study of the Scientific-Literary Prose of Late Professor Seyed Jafar Shahidi
