One of these mental and abstract concepts is fear and anger, which Ohadi Maraghe’i, as one of the prominent poets of the eighth century, has tried to depict and make objective. The main purpose of this research is to analyze and examine the conceptual metaphors of anger and fear in the poems of Ohadi Maraghe’i, relying on the theory of Lakoff and Johnson. METHODOLOGY: The study method in this research is descriptive-analytical and was conducted based on data obtained from a selection of Ohadi Maraghe’i’s poems in Jam Jam, Mantiq al-Ishaq, and his Ghazals. FINDINGS: The research findings show that in the poetic worldview of Ohadi Maraghe’i, the concept of fear has been considered with metaphors such as "cage", "darkness", "fall" and pressure. Also, the conceptualization of anger has been done with mappings such as "fire", "storm" and "demon". CONCLUSION: The results of the research show that fear and anger are two abstract concepts that have been manifested with a dual function in Ohadi"s poems. Fear is depicted as a passive and inhibitory nature and anger is depicted with a dynamic and active state. Fear and anger in Ohadi"s poems are cognitive and meaningful elements in the mystical system of the poet"s thought that guides the audience"s mind towards spiritual transcendence and purification of the soul.زمینه و هدف: انسان بمنظور ادراک بهتر و بیشتر مفاهیم و گزاره های انتزاعی از استعاره هایی در ذهن خویش بهره میگیرد که دارای ساختاری مفهومی هستند که خود حاصل تجاربی هستند که انسان از دنیای پیرامون خویش بدست می‌آورد. یکی از جمله این مفاهیم ذهنی و انتزاعی ترس و خشم میباشد که اوحدی مراغه ای بعنوان یکی از شاعران مطرح قرن هشتم سعی در بتصویر کشیدن و عینی ساختن آن داشته است. هدف اصلی این پژوهش، تحلیل و بررسی استعاره های مفهومی خشم و ترس در اشعار اوحدی مراغه ای با تکیه بر نظریه لیکاف و جانسون میباشد. روش پژوهش: روش مطالعه در این جستار توصیفی ـ تحلیلی است و بر اساس داده های حاصل آمده از گزیده ای از اشعار اوحدی مراغه ای در جام جم، منطق العشاق و غزلیات وی انجام شده است. یافته های پژوهش: یافته های پژوهش نشان میدهد که در جهانبینی شعری اوحدی مراغه ای، مفهوم ترس با استعاره هایی چون «قفس»، «تاریکی»، «سقوط» و فشار مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. همچنین، مفهوم‌سازی خشم با نگاشت هایی چون «آتش» «طوفان» و «دیو» صورت گرفته است. نتایج پژوهش: نتایج حاصل از پژوهش نشان میدهد که ترس و خشم دو مفهوم انتزاعی هستند که با کارکردی دوگانه در اشعار اوحدی متجلی شده اند. ترس بعنوان ماهیتی منفعل و بازدارنده و خشم، با حالتی پویا و فعال بتصویر کشیده شده است. ترس و خشم در اشعار اوحدی، عنصری شناختی و معنابخش در نظام عرفانی اندیشه شاعر است که ذهن مخاطب را بسمت و سوی تعالی روحانی و پالایش نفس هدایت میکند.زبانشناسی شناختی, استعاره مفهومی, اوحدی مراغه ای, ترس و خشم.Cognitive linguistics, conceptual metaphor, Ohadi Maraghe’i, fear and anger.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1982.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1982.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل و تبیین استعاره های مفهومی ترس و خشم در اشعار اوحدی مراغه ایhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Analysis and Explanation of Conceptual Metaphors of Fear and Anger in the Poems of Ohadi Maraghe’i
