In the meantime, contemporary poets, using imagery and rhetorical language, have tried to represent the suffering and resistance of the oppressed Palestinian nation in the form of novel metaphors and similes. The aim of the present study is to analyze and compare imagery in the poetry of two contemporary Iranian poets about Palestine, focusing on the frequency and function of the two rhetorical elements of metaphor and simile. METHODOLOGY: The present study will be conducted using a descriptive-analytical method based on rhetoric and aesthetics of metaphor and simile in a selection of poems by ten contemporary Iranian poets, focusing on the theme of Palestine. The data have been extracted and classified based on qualitative and quantitative content analysis of imagery. FINDINGS: The studies showed that the frequency of using metaphor in the poetry of most of the mentioned poets is higher. This issue is important from the ideological and symbolic perspective of poets on the subject of Palestine; where Palestine is not known as a geographical region but as a metaphor of an oppressed nation, faith, resistance, resurrection, and uprising against oppression and aggression. CONCLUSION: The results of the study show that the image of Palestine in contemporary Iranian poetry has gone beyond the level of description and has become a symbolic and rhetorical expression of faith and resistance. Metaphor has received more attention than simile and has assumed an epistemological and ideological function in these poems. In the poems of Ali Moallem Damghani and Tahereh Saffarzadeh, metaphor has received more attention than other poets.زمینه و هدف: ادبیّات پایداری معاصر ایران یکی از بارزترین جلوه های همدلی با ملّتهای ستمدیده بویژه مردم فلسطین است. در این میان شاعران معاصر با بهره گیری از صور خیال و زبان بلاغی، کوشیده اند رنج و مقاومت ملّت مظلوم فلسطین را در قالب استعاره ها و تشبیه های بدیع بازنمایی کنند. هدف پژوهش حاضر واکاوی و مقایسه تصویرپردازی در شعر دو شاعر معاصر ایرانی درباره فلسطین با تمرکز بر بسامد و کارکرد دو عنصر بلاغی استعاره و تشبیه است. روش پژوهش: پژوهش حاضر به روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی بر مبنای بلاغت و زیبایی‌شناسی استعاره و تشبیه در گزیده ای از شعر ده شاعر معاصر ایران و با محوریّت موضوع فلسطین انجام خواهد شد. داده ها با تکیه بر تحلیل محتوای کیفی و کمی صور خیال استخراج و طبقه بندی شده اند. یافته ها: بررسیها نشان داد که بسامد استفاده از استعاره در شعر اغلب شاعران یاد شده، بیشتر است. این مسأله از نگاه ایدئولوژیک و نمادین شاعران بموضوع فلسطین حائز اهمّیّت است؛ جاییکه فلسطین نه بعنوان یک اقلیم جغرافیایی بلکه استعاره ای از ملّت مظلوم، ایمان، مقاومت و رستاخیز و قیام علیه ظلم و تعدی شناخته میشود. نتیجه گیری: نتایج پژوهش نشان میدهد که تصویر فلسطین در شعر معاصر ایران از سطح توصیف فراتر رفته و به بیانی نمادین و بلاغی از ایمان و مقاومت بدل شده است. استعاره بیشتر از تشبیه مورد توجّه قرار گرفته و در این اشعار ساز ‌و‌کاری معرفتی و ایدئولوژیک بخود گرفته است . در اشعار علی معلّم دامغانی و طاهره صفارزاده استعاره بیشتر از سایر شاعران مورد توجّه قرار گرفته است.فلسطین. شعر معاصر. تصویر. ادبیّات مقاومت. تشبیه و استعاره.Palestine.
