The story of Siavash is one of the most prominent parts of this work, in which Ferdowsi, using phonetic, lexical and musical elements, presents a linguistic and artistic image of characters such as Siavash, Sudabeh, Kikavus, Rostam, Gersioz and Afrasiab. METHODOLOGY: The present study, with a descriptive-analytical approach and based on the structuralist stylistic method, examines Ferdowsi"s linguistic style in creating and describing characters. In this study, the main focus is on how sound and words affect the formation of the moral, epic and tragic faces of the heroes and anti-heroes of the story. FINDINGS: In the story of Siavash, by using the rhythm of words, phonetic harmony, and precise and emotional word selection, Ferdowsi was able to reveal the inner layers of the characters not only through external actions but also through the inner music of the language. Soft phonemes, repetition of long vowels, and melodious words in describing Siavash create an image of purity, nobility, and gentleness of his soul, and in contrast, the use of explosive phonemes and heavy words in describing Afrasiab and Sudabeh highlight the negative emotional charge and inner violence of these characters. On the other hand, lexical analysis showed that the high frequency of words related to light, whiteness, purity, and nature in describing Siavash, as opposed to words related to darkness, blood, and fire in describing his enemies, forms a clear contrastive system that serves the moral and epic meaning of the text. CONCLUSION: With his linguistic skill, Ferdowsi goes beyond the level of narration and, through the choice of words and the music of words, instills in the reader"s mind the boundary between good and evil, oppression and tyranny, and love and betrayal.زمینه و هدف: شاهنامۀ فردوسی نه تنها گنجینه ای از حماسه و تاریخ اسطوره ای ایران است، بلکه نظامی زبانی و موسیقایی در خدمت بازنمایی شخصیتها و عواطف انسانی را در خود نهفته دارد. داستان سیاوش یکی از برجسته ترین بخشهای این اثر است که در آن فردوسی با بهره گیری از عناصر آوایی، واژگانی و موسیقایی، تصویری زبانی و هنری از شخصیتهایی چون سیاوش، سودابه، کی‌کاووس، رستم، گرسیوز و افراسیاب ارائه میدهد. روش‌ها: پژوهش حاضر با رویکردی توصیفی‌ - تحلیلی و بر پایۀ روش سبک‌شناسی ساختارگرا، شیوۀ زبان‌پردازی فردوسی را در خلق و توصیف شخصیتها بررسی کند. در این پژوهش، تمرکز اصلی بر چگونگی تأثیر آوا و واژه در شکلدهی به چهرۀ اخلاقی، حماسی و تراژیک قهرمانان و ضدقهرمانان داستان است. یافته ها: فردوسی در داستان سیاوش، با بهره گیری از آهنگ کلمات، هماهنگی آوایی و گزینش واژگان دقیق و عاطفی، توانسته لایه های درونی شخصیتها را نه تنها از راه کنشهای بیرونی بلکه از طریق موسیقی درونی زبان آشکار کند. واج‌آراییهای نرم، تکرار واکه های بلند و واژه های خوش‌صدا در وصف سیاوش، تصویری از پاکی، نجابت و لطافت روح او میسازد و در مقابل، کاربرد واجهای انفجاری و واژگان سنگین در وصف افراسیاب و سودابه، بار عاطفی منفی و خشونت درونی این شخصیتها را برجسته میسازد. از سوی دیگر، تحلیل واژگانی نشان داد که بسامد بالای واژه های مرتبط با نور، سپیدی، پاکی و طبیعت در توصیف سیاوش، در برابر واژگان مرتبط با تیرگی، خون و آتش در وصف دشمنان او، نظام تقابلی روشنی را شکل میدهد که در خدمت معناپردازی اخلاقی و حماسی متن است. نتیجه گیری: فردوسی با مهارت زبانی خود، از سطح روایت فراتر میرود و از طریق انتخاب واژگان و موسیقی واژه، مرز میان خیر و شر، مظلومیت و ستمگری، و عشق و خیانت را در ذهن خواننده نهادینه میکند.سبک‌شناسی, آوایی, واژگانی, شاهنامه, فردوسی, سیاوش, توصیف, شخصیت.Stylistics, Phonetics, Lexicology, Shahnameh, Ferdowsi, Siavash, Description, Personality.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1926.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1926.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/سبک‌شناسی آوایی و واژگانیِ توصیف شخصیتهای داستان سیاوش در شاهنامۀ فردوسیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Phonetic and Lexical Stylistics of Character Descriptions in the Story of Siavash in Ferdowsi's Shahnameh
