Analyzing the literature in a historical period is only possible through scrutinizing the literature of the time. Examination of the themes which is indeed the main idea behind every literary work, including juvenile literature, is of utmost importance due to the fact that thorough understanding of the theme or content facilitates the perception of the story line and its characters which in turn helps the comprehension of the authors’ mentalities.In this study, eighteen juvenile stories from eleven authors have been considered as a mean of understanding the themes of the literary works of the mentioned period. All the eighteen stories which have different themes have been studied from the same analytical standpoint and results have been concluded from class gap, political, adventure, combination of epic and mysticism, group work, and educational and religious themes both in one story only.
