Among the most famous of these theorists are Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, whose theory of the archetype and the hero"s journey created a huge development in this field and through which many folk stories and narratives can be analyzed structurally. In fact, the aim of this article is to find patterns defined based on Campbell"s theory of the hero"s journey in the famous folk legend "Chelgis and Jahantigh". METHODOLOGY: In this research, which was conducted using a library method, a theoretical study was conducted regarding the adaptation of the legend of "Chelgis and Jahantigh" with Campbell"s theory of the hero"s journey. The main source of the study is the Morning Stories by Fazl Ahmad Mohtadi, which was published by Lima Saleh Ramsari and published by Moein Publications. FINDINGS: In this legend, three stages of departure (separation), initiation, and return can be followed, however, in this narrative, the first two stages play a more prominent role, and the third stage, which is the hero"s return, has a weaker effect than the previous two stages. In addition, the order of all the minor stages (including seventeen stages) that constitute Campbell"s analytical theory is not necessarily observed in the story. Also, in examining this legend, the three stages of "the belly of the whale", "unseen help", and "the saving hand from outside" cannot be clearly separated from each other. CONCLUSION: In this narrative, a hero named Jahantigh embarks on a difficult journey upon seeing the image of Chelgispai and, by going through certain stages, he achieves a kind of self-knowledge and spiritual perfection, while also succeeding in his mission and gaining worldly blessings. Thus, the main task of the hero is consistent with Campbell"s theory of the "hero"s journey" archetype in this story.زمینه و هدف: در اوایل سده بیستم و با ظهور پژوهشگران پیشرو، نظریات نوینی در علوم انسانی ارائه شد که راه را برای شیوه های جدید و دقیقتر تحلیل میراث فرهنگی بشری هموار نمود. از جمله مشهورترین این پژوهشگران نظریه پرداز، کارل یونگ و جوزف کمپبل هستند که نظریه کهن‌الگو و سفر قهرمان این دو تحول عظیمی در این زمینه ایجاد نمود و به وسیله آن میتوان بسیاری از داستانها و روایتهای عامیانه را از نظر ساختاری تجزیه و تحلیل کرد. در واقع هدف این مقاله یافتن الگوهای تعریف شده بر پایه نظریه سفر قهرمان کمپبل در افسانه عامیانه و مشهور «چلگیس و جهانتیغ» است. روشها: در این پژوهش که به روش کتابخانه ای انجام شده، به مطالعه ای نظری در رابطه با تطبیق افسانۀ «چلگیس و جهانتیغ» با نظریه سفر قهرمان کمپبل پرداخته شده است. منبع اصلی مورد مطالعه قصه های صبحی اثر فضل ا... مهتدی میباشد که به کوشش لیما صالح رامسری توسط انتشارات معین به چاپ رسیده است. یافته ها: در این افسانه سه مرحله عزیمت (جدایی)، تشرف و بازگشت قابل پیگیری است، با این حال در این روایت دو مرحله اول نقش بارزتری را ایفا میکنند و از مرحله سوم که بازگشت قهرمان است اثر کمرنگتری به نسبت دو مرحله قبلی دیده میشود. علاوه بر این لزوماً ترتیب تمام مرحله های جزئی (شامل هفده مرحله) که نظریه تحلیلی کمپبل را تشکیل میدهد، در داستان رعایت نشده است. همچنین در بررسی این افسانه، سه مرحلۀ «شکم نهنگ»، «امداد غیبی»، و «دست نجات از خارج» به روشنی از هم قابل تفکیک نیست. نتیجه گیری: در این روایت، قهرمانی با نام جهانتیغ با دیدن تصویر چلگیس پای در سفری دشوار مینهد و با گذر از مراحلی، ضـمن پیروزی در مأموریـت خـود و کسـب مواهب دنیوی، به نوعی خودشناسی و کمال معنوی نیز دست مییابد. بدین ترتیب خویشکاری اصلی قهرمان مطابق با نظریه کمپبل درباره کهن‌الگوی «سفر قهرمان» در این داستان مطابقت میکند.ادبیات عامه, اسطوره, افسانه, جوزف کمپبل, چلگیس, سفر قهرمان, کارل یونگ, کهن‌الگوPopular literature, myth, legend, Joseph Campbell, Chelgis, Hero's Journey, Carl Jung, Archetypehttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1784.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1784.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل ساختاری افسانه «‌چلگیس» بر اساس نظریه سفر قهرمان کمپبِلhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Structural Analysis of the Legend of "Chelgis" Based on Campbell's Hero's Journey Theory
