In cognitive linguistics, metaphor plays an important role in human cognitive system; In such a way that many of the most basic concepts in the conceptual system are understood through metaphorical concepts. Love is one of the abstract and emotional concepts for which it seems necessary to use more concrete and objective concepts. Using the theory of conceptual metaphor, this research examines the evidence that Ahmad Azizi has conceptualized the concrete and objective spheres and material over the abstract sphere of love in his poems. METHODOLOGY: The present research is a theoretical study conducted in the style of library research. The scope and community of study is the Masnavis and the collection of Ghazliats of Ahmad Azizi, and the samples from the total of 131 verses with a metaphorical structure have been selected as examples. This research analyzes the conceptual metaphor of love in Ahmad Azizi"s poems using a descriptive-analytical method and a cognitive approach. FINDINGS: Ahmad Azizi used ontological metaphors and various materials to conceptualize love in order to focus on various aspects and functions of love. The result of the text expressing the dominance of three Extended metaphors "Love is living, "Love is material/body", "Love is place" and its organization on a range of micro-metaphors with substance and material on the axis of this Extended metaphors. Based on existing correspondences, these micro-metaphors describe some of the most important concepts related to love, such as leadership, power, greatness, infinity, ennoblement, illumination, sanctity, valuing, excitement, destruction, and connection Conceptualiz. Also, the Image schemas of vitality, motion/path, object, light, and container have been used to connect the origin and destination areas of the metaphor. CONCLUSION: The examination of Extended metaphors of love and micro-metaphors related to it indicates that 26 micro-metaphors related to the pattern of animism, 28 cases of physical metaphors and 20 cases of spatial metaphors were used out of a total of 74 metaphor groups. Also, examining the positive and negative functions of micrometaphors and their frequency shows that the poet"s view of the intuitive experience of love is often pleasant and positive.زمینه و هدف: بر اساس رویکرد شناختی زبان، تجربیات حسی و فیزیکی انسان مبنای ادراک مفاهیم انتزاعی است. در زبانشناسی شناختی، استعاره نقش مهمی در نظام شناختی بشر دارد؛ به نحوی که بسیاری از بنیادی ترین مفاهیم در نظام مفهومی از طریق مفاهیم استعاری درک میشود. عشق یکی از مفاهیم انتزاعی و احساسی است که برای بیان آن استفاده از مفاهیم ملموس تر و عینی تر ضروری به نظر میرسد. این پژوهش با بهره گیری از نظریه استعارۀ مفهومی به شواهدی میپردازد که احمد عزیزی در اشعار خود، حوزه های ملموس و عینی و مادّه را بر حوزۀ انتزاعی عشق مفهوم سازی کرده است. روشها: پژوهش پیش رو، مطالعه ای نظری است که به شیوه پژوهش کتابخانه ای انجام شده است. محدوده و جامعه مورد مطالعه، مثنویها و مجموعه غزلیات احمد عزیزی است و نمونه ها از مجموع 131 بیت دارای ساختار استعاری به عنوان شاهد مثال انتخاب شده است. این تحقیق به روش توصیفی – تحلیلی و با استفاده از رویکرد شناختی به تحلیل استعاره مفهومی عشق در اشعار احمد عزیزی میپردازد. یافته ها: احمد عزیزی برای مفهوم سازی عشق از استعاره های هستی شناختی و مادّه های گوناگون بهره گرفته تا بتواند بر جنبه ها و کارکردهای گوناگون عشق تمرکز نماید. برآیند متن بیان کننده سیطره سه کلان استعاره «عشق جاندار است، «عشق مادّه/جسم است»، «عشق مکان است» و سامان یافتگی آن بر گستره ای از خرداستعاره های هستومند و مادّه بر محور این کلان استعاره هاست. این خرد استعاره ها بر پایه تناظرهای موجود شماری از مهمترین مفاهیم مرتبط با عشق همچون پیشوایی، قاهریت، قدرت، عظمت، بیکرانگی، تهذیب کنندگی، روشنایی بخشی، قداست، ارزش بخشی، شورانگیزی، فناکنندگی و وصال بخشی را مفهوم سازی میکند. همچنین از طرحواره های تصوری جانداری، حرکتی/مسیر، شیء، نور و ظرف برای ارتباط حوزه های مبدأ و مقصد استعاره استفاده شده است. نتیجه گیری: بررسی کلان استعاره های عشق و خرد استعاره های مرتبط با آن، حکایت از آن دارد که از مجموع 74 گروه استعاری 26 خرداستعاره مرتبط با الگوی جاندارانگاری، 28 مورد جسم انگاری و 20 مورد مکان انگاری استفاده شده است. نیز، بررسی کارکردهای مثبت و منفی خرداستعاره ها و بسامد آن نشان میدهد که دیدگاه شاعر نسبت به تجربه شهودی عشق غالباً خوشایند و مثبت است.زبانشناسی شناختی, استعاره مفهومی, عشق, شعرcognitive linguistics, conceptual metaphor, Love, poemshttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1782.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1782.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل شناختی استعاره مفهومی عشق در اشعار احمد عزیزیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Cognitive analysis of the conceptual metaphor of love in Ahmad Azizi's poems
