According to Karen Horney, most of the aggressive, defensive and affection-seeking behaviors and isolation are rooted in childhood anxiety caused by family and society. The authors of the present study analyze the two collections of juvenile humor stories, “I am not Baba’s servant” by Ahmad Akbarpour and “Cream Love” by Shahram Shafie based on Karen Horney’s psychology and the theory of basic anxiety to identify which aforementioned story has caused anxiety and mental tension in children and adolescent readers. METHODOLOGY: This study, which has been conducted based on descriptive-analytical method and desk research. FINDINGS: There is a considerable extent of humiliation, fear, anxiety and isolation in the protagonist of the “I am not Baba’s servant” story, as far as David’s anxious and disjointed personality suffers from nightmare because of his father dictatorship and turns to reclusiveness as a defense mechanism of Karen Horneys’s theory. In contrast, the story of “Cream love” narrates the sense of solidarity and love between the members of family in a humorous language and in terms of anxiety mechanism, less feeling of humiliation and distress was observed. CONCLUSION: This study, which has been conducted based on descriptive-analytical method and desk research, shows that Shafie has been more successful than Akbarpour in delineating the characters who have more mental health in comparison with the characters of the story of “I am not Baba’s servant”.زمینه و هدف: مقالۀ پیشِ ‌رو میزان بازتاب اضطراب اساسی طبق نظریۀ نقد روانشناسی کارن هورنای در داستانهای کودک و نوجوان را مورد بررسی قرار داده است تا به آسیب‌شناسی محتوای داستانهای طنز بپردازد. کارن هورنای ریشۀ بسیاری از رفتارهای پرخاشگرانه، تدافعی، انزوا و گاه مِهرطلبانۀ افراد را در کودکی آنان و ناشی از وجود اضطراب در محیط خانواده و جامعه میداند. نویسندگان پژوهش حاضر بر آنند تا دو مجموعۀ داستانی طنز کودک و نوجوان «من نوکر بابا نیستم» اثر احمد اکبرپور و «عشق خامه ای» اثر شهرام شفیعی را از دیدگاه روانشناسی کارن هورنای و موضوع اضطراب اساسی بررسی کنند تا مشخص شود فضای کدامیک از داستانهای ذکرشده سبب ایجاد اضطراب و تنش روحی در مخاطب کودک و نوجوان شده است. روش مطالعه: این پژوهش به ‌شیوۀ توصیفی-تحلیلی بر مبنای مطالعات کتابخانه ای صورت گرفته است. یافته ها: در داستان من نوکر بابا نیستم شدّت تحقیر، ترس، اضطراب و انزوای شخصیت اصلی داستان بسیار زیاد است؛ تا جایی که شخصیت مضطرب و ازهم‌گسیختۀ داوود به دلیل استبداد پدر، دچار کابوسهای شبانه میگردد و به انزواطلبی بعنوان یکی از سازوکارهای دفاعی از نظر کارن هورنای متوسّل میشود. در مقابلش در داستان عشق خامه ای انسجام و عشق میان اعضای خانواده با زبانی طنز به تصویر کشیده شده است و به لحاظ مکانیسمهای اضطرابی، شاهد میزان کمتری از پریشانی و احساس حقارت هستیم. نتیجه گیری: داستان عشق خامه ای اثر شفیعی در ترسیم شخصیتهای داستانی که از سلامت و صحّت روحی و روانی بیشتری برخوردارند، نسبت به داستان من نوکر بابا نیستم اثر اکبرپور، از موفقیت بیشتری برخوردار است و از این زاویه که وظیفۀ نویسندۀ کودک و نوجوان، بویژه در عرصۀ طنز، القای آرامش، امنیت و احساس کرامت است، به نظر میرسد موفقیت شهرام شفیعی در داستان عشق خامه ای بسیار بیشتر از داستان من نوکر بابا نیستم از اکبرپور میباشد.نقد روانشناسی, کارن هورنای, ادبیات کودک و نوجوان, طنز, عشق خامه ای, من نوکر بابا نیستم.psychology criticism, Karen Horne, children's and adolescent literature, humor, creamy love, I am not daddy's servant.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1554.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1554.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/بررسی مقایسه ای و آسیب‌شناسانۀ طنز کودک و نوجوان با رویکرد نظریۀ روانشناسی اضطراب اساسی کارن هورنایhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Comparative and Pathologically Study of Humor of children and teenagers with the Theory of Karen Hornay's Basic Anxiety
