A work that has beautifully mixed epic and love and narrated it in the language of poetry. Similar to this story in European folk literature, there is a story called Rapunzel, which has significant similarities with the story of Zal and Rudabeh. The purpose of this research is to compare the two stories and examine whether the story of Rapunzel is adapted from the story of Zal and Rudabeh or not. METHODOLOGY: Based on the theory of narratology, this research compares the story of Rapunzel and the story of Zal and Rudabeh. After the paleontology of the stories, it was found that the story of Rapunzel was printed in Italy a century before the introduction and arrival of the Shahnameh to Europe and existed in the folk literature of the people of the Danube coast; Therefore, the hypothesis that Rapunzel is adapted from the Shahnameh is rejected. FINDINGS: In the discourse analysis of these stories, common elements and symbols were found such as the originality of love, tower and height, mountain, hair and hair, and child, which points to the archetypes and common cultural views of the origins of both stories. CONCLUSION: In both stories, love is introduced as the path to excellence and is a process that opens its way to union and finally, victory is with love. On the other hand, wisdom and love are introduced as the wings of flying and excellence, that wisdom without love and love without wisdom have no meaning. "Highness" which appears in the image of the tower in both stories, indicates the inner desire of man to move forward and what can provide the ground for this exaltation is the hair of Faroheshta Yar, and finally, having children refers to the continuation of romantic nature and immortality, which in The story of Zal and Simorgh leads to the birth of Rastam, and the story of Rapunzel leads to the birth of twins. In general, although these stories do not have the same narrative process, in terms of discourse and the message of the work, many common aspects can be counted in them, which shows that this similarity is not accidental.زمینه و هدف: یکی از عاشقانه های نیک‌بنیان شاهنامه فردوسی، داستان زال و رودابه است؛ اثری که حماسه و عشق را به زیبایی در هم آمیخته و به زبان شعر روایت کرده است. مشابه این داستان در ادبیات عامیانه اروپا، داستانی به نام راپونزل است که شباهتهای چشمگیری با داستان زال و رودابه دارد. هدف از این پژوهش بررسی تطبیقی دو داستان و واکاوی این موضوع است که آیا داستان راپونزل از داستان زال و رودابه اقتباس شده است یا نه. روش مطالعه: این پژوهش بر اساس نظریه روایت‌شناسی به مقایسه تطبیقی داستان راپونزل و داستان زال و رودابه میپردازد. پس از دیرینه شناسی داستانها مشخص شد که داستان راپونزل یک قرن پیش از معرفی و ورود شاهنامه به اروپا، در ایتالیا چاپ شده و در ادبیات عامیانه مردمان ساحل دانوب وجود داشته است؛ بنابراین فرضیه مقتبس بودن راپونزل از شاهنامه رد میشود. یافته ها: در همانندسنجی گفتمانی این داستانها، عناصر و نمادهای مشترکی همچون اصالت عشق، برج و بلندی و کوه، گیسو و گیسوافشاندن و فرزند یافت شد که بر کهن‌الگوها و دیدگاههای مشترک فرهنگی خاستگاههای هردو داستان اشاره دارد. نتیجه گیری: در هر دو داستان، عشق راه رسیدن به تعالی معرفی شده و رونده ای است که راه خود را به سوی وصال باز میکند و در نهایت، پیروزی با عشق است. از سوی دیگر، خرد و عشق بالهای پریدن و تعالی معرفی میشوند که خرد بی‌ عشق و عشق بی‌ خرد معنا ندارد. «بلندی» نیز که در هر دو داستان در شمایلِ برج خودنمایی میکند، نشانگر میل درونی انسان به فرارفتن است و آنچه میتواند زمینه این تعالی را فراهم سازد، گیسوی فروهشته یار است و بالأخره اینکه فرزندآوری به تداوم منش عاشقانه و جاودانگی اشاره دارد که در داستان زال و سیمرغ به زاده شدن رستم و در داستان راپونزل به تولد دوقلوها می‎انجامد. در مجموع اگرچه این داستانها سیر روایی مشابهی ندارند، به لحاظ گفتمانی و پیام اثر، وجوه مشترک زیادی را میتوان در آنها برشمرد که نشان میدهد این همانندی اتفاقی نیست.زال و رودابه, راپونزل, سیمرغ, فردوسی, شاهنامه.Zal and Rudabeh, Rapunzel, Simorgh, Ferdowsi, Shahnameh.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1546.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1546.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/مقایسۀ تطبیقی داستان زال و رودابه و داستان راپونزل بر اساس نظریه روایت‌شناسی ساختگراhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/A comparative paralleling of the story of Zal and Roudabeh and the story of Rapunzel, Based on narratology theory
