The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the virtues and abilities of the characters of Khosrow and Shirin Nizami based on the theory of positive psychology. METHODOLOGY: This research, using the content analysis method, has explained the virtues and abilities of the characters in the story of Khosrow and Shirin. FINDINGS: Khosrow and Shirin is one of the systems of Khamsa Nizami, and the people of this system have virtues and capabilities that knowing these virtues and capabilities can have a significant impact on the analysis of the characters of this story. CONCLUSION: In this story, the relationship of mutual love is tangible. Although Khosrow enters this romantic relationship from the beginning with a selfish view, he achieves the virtues of courage, love, transcendence, etc. by emphasizing the abilities of courage, kindness, understanding beauty, etc., and we see the evolution in his character. Shirin also achieves all virtues by strengthening abilities such as self-control, humility, and forgiveness.زمینه و هدف: اهداف علم روانشناسی در گذشته تمرکز بر بیماریها و راههای درمان آنها بوده است؛ اما در حدود دو دهۀ پیش شاخه ای از روانشناسی به نام روانشناسی مثبت نگر با هدف تأکید بر فضایل ششگانۀ اخلاقی مانند خرد، شجاعت، عدالت، میانه روی، عشق و رأفت، استعلا، رهبری و غیره مورد توجه قرار گرفت. هدف این پژوهش، شناسایی و تحلیل فضایل و توانمندیهای شخصیتهای منظومۀ خسرو و شیرین نظامی بر اساس نظریۀ روانشناسی مثبت نگر میباشد. روش مطالعه: این پژوهش با روش تحلیل محتوا به تبیین فضایل و توانمندیهای شخصیتی در اشخاص داستان خسرو و شیرین پرداخته است. یافته ها: خسرو و شیرین یکی از منظومه های خمسه نظامی است و اشخاص این منظومه دارای فضایل و قابلیتهایی هستند که شناخت این فضایل و توانمندیها میتواند در واکاوی شخصیّتهای این داستان تأثیر بسزایی داشته باشد. نتیجه گیری: در این داستان، رابطۀ عشق متقابل، ملموس است. خسرو با اینکه از ابتدا با نگاه کامجویی وارد این رابطۀ عاشقانه میشود، با تأکید بر توانمندیهای دلیری، مهربانی، درک زیباییها و غیره به فضایل شجاعت، عشق، استعلا و غیره دست مییابد و سیر تکاملی را در شخصیت او میبینیم. شیرین نیز با تقویت توانمندیهایی چون خودکنترلی، فروتنی، و بخشش به همه فضایل نائل میشود و به تعالی میرسد.خسرو و شیرین, نظامی گنجوی, روانشناسی مثبت نگر, مارتین سلیگمن.Khosrow and Shirin, Nizami Ganjavi, positive psychology, Martin Seligman.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1535.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1535.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/واکاوی شخصیتهای خسرو و شیرین نظامی بر اساس نظریۀ مارتین سلیگمنhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Analyzing the personalities of Khosrow and Shirin Nizami based on the theory of Martin Seligman
