The purpose of this research was to take a closer look at the mythological and epic nature of Fereste and examine the conceptual distinction between the use of Fereste in the Shahnameh and in the sources of the Shahnameh. In order to deeply understand these distinctions, it is inevitable to divide the types of use of the messenger and the Minoan messengers that are interpreted as "angels" in common usage, along with the attributes and characteristics of the messengers and the motives of sending the messenger in the national epic, have been examined. METHODOLOGY: This research was done in a library method and descriptive-analytical method based on comparison, interpretation and explanation. FINDINGS: The studies and investigations of this research have shown that some attributes and characteristics of the messengers and the double importance of the messenger in the epic are taken from Shahnameh sources such as Pahlavi and Avesta works. CONCLUSION: In this article, the term "angel" refers to the supernatural beings who have been assigned and sent by Ahura Mazda to carry out both their helping and messaging actions. The characters of these messengers are a model for messengers, couriers and war ambassadors in verse epics such as Ferdowsi"s Shahnameh.زمینه و هدف: جستار حاضر به بررسی نقشمایه های اسطوره ای و حماسی فرسته (فرشته) در شاهنامه فردوسی پرداخته و از کتب پهلوی نیز بعنوان مکمل و شاهد بهره گرفته ‌است. هدف از این پژوهش، ریزنگری در ماهیت اسطوره ای و حماسی فرسته و بررسی تمایز مفهومی میان کاربرد فرسته در شاهنامه و در منابع شاهنامه بوده است. برای درک عمیق این تمایزات، ناگزیر به بخش‌بندی انواع کاربرد فرسته روی ‌آورده شده ‌و فرستگانی مینوی که در تداول عام «فرشته» تعبیر یافته اند در کنار یادکرد صفات و ویژگیهای فرستگان و انگیزه های ارسال فرسته در حماسۀ ملی بررسی شده ‌است. روش مطالعه: این پژوهش به شیوۀ کتابخانه ای و به روش توصیفی-تحلیلی بر پایۀ مقایسه و تفسیر و توضیح صورت پذیرفته ‌است. یافته ها: مطالعات و بررسیهای جستار حاضر نشان داده ‌است که برخی صفات و ویژگیهای فرستگان و اهمیت مضاعف فرسته در حماسه از منابع شاهنامه نظیر آثار پهلوی و اوستا برگرفته شده ‌است. نتیجه گیری: در این مقاله منظور از فرسته، گاه زیوندگان فرامادی است که از سوی اهورا‌مزدا مأموریت یافته و فرستاده شده اند تا هم جنبۀ یاریگرانه و هم کنشهای پیام‌رسانی خود را به انجام برسانند. نقشمایه های این فرستگان، الگویی برای رسولان، پیکها و سفیران جنگی در حماسه های منظوم چون شاهنامه فردوسی است.فرسته , شاهنامه, نقشمایه, خِرد.messenger(angel), Shahnameh, motifs, wisdomhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1443.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1443.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/نقشمایه های فرسته در شاهنامهhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/The role of messengers (fereste) in Shahnameh
