It requires the importance of searching in indexed and reliable versions; From the Safavid period in the field of stories and anecdotes, a considerable amount of literature has been remembered, and identifying them is a big step in understanding and developing the story and its different types in Persian literature; One of the valuable works of this period is a version of a romantic story from the 11th century called "Bahjat Afza"; Behjat Afza is a detailed description of the love and travels of "Badi Al-Zaman" and the events that happen to him. The work is a prose romance mixed with order. Analyzing the content and introducing the said work is the main goal of this article. METHODOLOGY: The present article is based on the analytical method (language and content analysis) and is done with library tools, which is specific to the studied community, the "Bahjat Afza" manuscript, a work from the 11th century of Hijra. FINDINGS: In the realm of content, Behjat Afza is a romantic and prose story mixed with order from the Safavid period. In the literary aspect, the author has added to the aspects of verbal and spiritual beauty of words by using various expressive and innovative techniques. The frequency of using image elements. Instrument is in the field of expression more than other things; Intellectually, it is an unconventional work; concepts such as love, attention to the lives of the common people, the relations of the lower classes of society with the centers of power, spreading ethics and adherence to principles, as well as believing in the Shia religion and believing in divine providence, destiny and human nature in this work. It is thought-provoking. CONCLUSION: Behjat Afza"s story shows the growth and trend of the story and the approach of the artists of that time to fiction literature; In his descriptions, the author has mentioned Golestan Saadi and in some parts of the story, Kalila and Demeneh. His prose is in the style of a seer between the Safavid period. This story is in the line of works such as Mahbub al-Qulob, Zeenat Majlis and Golshan Khwamanas. The difference is that this manuscript is a long story. The style of the story is internalization with the content of travel stories and the themes of Ayari. The introduction of this work can be beneficial for researchers interested in fiction literature, the history of development and the course of the story in the Safavid era, folk literature and fiction. Also, the story contains valuable historical, cultural and social information.زمینه و هدف: از آنجا که آبشخور کلام استادان و صاحب سبکان معاصر، به ادبیات دیرین ما متصل میشود، اهمیت جستجو در نسخه های شاخص و قابل‌اعتنا الزامی است؛ از دورۀ صفویه در حوزۀ داستان و حکایت ادبیات قابل‌ملاحظه ای به یادگار مانده که شناسایی آنها گام بزرگی در شناخت و سیر و تحول داستان و انواع مختلف آن در ادبیات فارسی است. از آثار ارزشمند این دوره، نسخۀ داستانی عاشقانه ای از قرن یازدهم هجری است موسوم به «بهجت‌افزا». بهجت‌افزا شرح مفصل عشق و سفرهای «بدیع‏الزمان» و حوادثی است که بر او میگذرد. اثر، رمانسی منثور آمیخته با نظم است. تحلیل محتوا، سبک‌شناسی و معرفی اثر مذکور، هدف اصلی این نوشتار است. روش مطالعه: مقالۀ حاضر براساس روش تحلیلی (تحلیل زبان و محتوا) و با ابزار کتابخانه ای انجام شده که جامعۀ موردمطالعۀ آن نسخۀ خطی «بهجت‌افزا» اثری از قرن یازدهم هجری است. یافته ها: در بعد ادبی، مؤلف با بکارگیری انواع شگردهای بیانی و بدیعی، به زیباییهای لفظی و معنوی کلام افزوده است. بسامد کاربرد عناصر تصویرساز در حوزۀ بیان بیشتر از موارد دیگر است؛ بلحاظ فکری اثری برونگراست؛ مفاهیمی مانند عشق، توجه به زندگی عامۀ مردم، ارتباطات طبقات پایین‌دستی جامعه با مراکز قدرت، نشر اخلاق و پایبندی به اصول و نیز اعتقاد به مذهب تشیع و باور به مشیت الهی و سرنوشت و فطرت انسان در این اثر، تأمل‌برانگیز است. نتیجه گیری: داستان بهجت‌افزا بیانگر رشد و رواج داستان و رویکرد اهل هنر آن زمان به ادبیات داستانی است؛ نویسنده در توصیفات خود به گلستان سعدی و در برخی قسمتهای داستان به کلیله و دمنه نظر داشته است. نثر آن به شیوۀ بینابین دورۀ صفوی است. این داستان در ردیف آثاری چون محبوب القلوب، زینت المجالس و گلشن خیالات قرار دارد؛ با این تفاوت که این دستنوشته، یک داستان بلند است. شیوۀ داستان درونه گیری با درونمایۀ داستانهای سفری و بنمایه های عیاری است. معرفی این اثر میتواند برای پژوهشگران علاقه مند به ادبیات داستانی، تاریخ تطور و سیر داستان در عهد صفوی، ادبیات عامیانه و داستانی سودمند واقع شود؛ همچنین داستان حاوی اطلاعات ارزشمند تاریخی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی است.بهجت‏افزا, محمدمهدی جربادقانی, داستان عاشقانه, ویژگیهای سبکیBehjat Afza, Mohammad Mehdi Jarbadghani, romantic story, stylistic featureshttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1437.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1437.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/معرفی و بررسی سبک‌شناسانۀ نسخۀ خطی «بهجت‏افزا»https://bahareadab.com/en/article/Introduction and stylistic analysis of Behjat Afza's manuscript
