Although, in the history of Persian literature this element lacked today’s diversity, in the realm of poetry, it has always played a critical determining role in inducing concepts and visualization. Studying the extent and manner of using different colors, either in ancient or modern poetry, is a useful attempt to get into the world of emotion and thoughts of poets and to understand the level of their mastery of using literary forms and techniques. According to the significance of this matter, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the functional role of color in the form and content of Sanai’s lyrics; an initiator of several literary movement of Persian poetry. Reviewing his lyrics with regard to this perspective can help identifying another significant part of his thought and poetic features. Sanaei mostly used color in to express theme of love in his poems. The most frequent colors used in his poems are: black, red, white, yellow. Simile and metaphors are the most common rhetoric – imagery figures of speech that he used on this ground. یکی از مؤثّرترین ابزارهای آفرینش هنری- ادبی، رنگ است. با آنکه حضور این عنصر در گذشتۀ ادبیات فارسی، گوناگونی امروزه را دارا نبود؛ امّا همواره نقشی مهم و تعیین کننده، در القای مفاهیم به مخاطب و تصویرسازیهای ادبی؛ بویژه در حوزۀ شعر داشته است. بررسی میزان و نحوۀ کاربرد انواع رنگ در شعر کهن و معاصر، کوششی است راهگشا برای ورود به دنیای عواطف و اندیشه های شاعران و نیز آگاهی از کیفیت چیرگی آنها در استفاده از شگردهای فرمی و ادبی. براساس همین اهمّیت، هدف مقالۀ حاضر، تحلیل کارکرد محتوایی و بلاغی انواع رنگهای بکار رفته در غزلیات سنایی است؛ چهره ای که در چندین جریان ادبی - شعری ایران، آغازگر است و بررسی غزل او از این منظر، میتواند به شناسایی بخش مهمّ دیگری از ذهنیات و ویژگیهای شعریش بینجامد. سنایی رنگ را بیشتر در بافت موضوعی- معنایی عاشقانه به کار میبرد. پربسامدترین رنگها در شعر او به ترتیب عبارتند از سیاه، سرخ، سفید و زرد. پرکاربردترین شیوه های بلاغی- تصویری نیز که سنایی در این زمینۀ موضوعی از آنها بهره میگیرد، تشبیه و استعاره هستند.رنگ, محتوا, فرم, تصویر, غزل سناییColor, Content, Form, Image, Lyrics of Sanaihttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/213.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/213.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/ کارکرد رنگ در محتوا و فرم غزل سناییhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Lyrics of Sanai: Expression of Color in the Form and Content
