The main subject of this work is the life story of Bahram Gore, from his birth to his disappearance, along with the various stories that are included in it, and among these stories are seven legends that are told in the language of the seven princesses. In this research, with the aim of showing military skills in storytelling, the issue of "narrative speed" in this collection of poetic stories has been investigated. METHODOLOGY: This research has been done in a descriptive-analytical manner. FINDINGS: The study of the speed of narration is to show how long the events and actions of the story occur in a literary work and how much of the story is assigned to them according to each time period. CONCLUSION: The speed of narration is moderate in the whole system and the components of increasing and decreasing the speed of narration are used in a balanced way. Although a number of slowing factors are more in some stories and less in others, due to the artistic aspects and poetic language of this lyrical system, the artistic pleasure of reducing and increasing the speed of narration has helped to balance and moderate the story.زمینه و هدف: منظومۀ داستانی هفت پیکر چهارمین اثر حکیم نظامی گنجوی، شاعر توانای قرن ششم هجری، است. موضوع اصلی این اثر داستان زندگی بهرام گور، از تولد تا ناپدید شدن اوست، به همراه داستانهای متنوع و گوناگونی که در آن آمده و از جمله این داستانها هفت افسانه ای است که از زبان هفت شاهدخت بیان میشود. در این پژوهش، با هدف نشان دادن مهارت نظامی در داستان‌پردازی، مسئلۀ «سرعت روایت» در این مجموعه داستان منظوم بررسی شده است. روش مطالعه: این پژوهش به شیوۀ توصیفی- تحلیلی صورت گرفته است. یافته ها: بررسی سرعت روایت برای آن است که نشان داده شود در یک اثر ادبی رویدادها و کنشهای داستانی در چه مدتی از زمان رخ داده و به تناسب هر یک از برهه های زمانی چه حجمی از داستان به آنها اختصاص یافته است. نتیجه گیری: سرعت روایت در کل منظومه، متوسط است و مؤلفه های افزایش و کاهش سرعت روایت بشکل متوازن بکار رفته اند. هرچند تعدادی از عوامل کاهش سرعت در برخی داستانها بیشتر و در برخی کمتر است، با توجه به جنبه های هنری و زبان شعری این منظومۀ غنایی، لذت هنری حاصل از کاهش و افزایش شتاب روایت، به توازن و تعدیل داستان کمک کرده است.نظامی, هفت پیکر, سرعت روایت, نظریۀ ژنتNezami, Haft Peykar, Narrative Speed, Genet Theoryhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1252.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1252.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/بررسی سرعت روایت در هفت پیکرنظامیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Investigating the speed of narration in Haft Peykar
