In his poetry, he introduces a touchstone for being complete and becoming complete. Having contemplated the spiritual life of man and ways to direct him toward perfection, Rumi has gained a great status in Islamic and Iranian mysticism. METHODOLOGY: The present article attempts to compare the major theories of perfection in psychology with Rumi’s Shams Sonnets through an analytical descriptive method and then juxtaposes Rumi’s idea of perfect man with that of psychologists, including Allport, Moslow, Rogers, Frankl, Fromm, Jung, and Perls. FINDINGS: The results show that bearing the problems, overcoming the crises, caring for others’ needs, and fellowship are of the commonalities that the so-called psychologists and Rumi share regarding the process of perfection. Jung and Fromm’s ideas, each with 29% and 22%, are the most similar and Perls and Rogers’s ideas, each with 4% and 7%, are the least similar to Rumi’s elements of reaching perfection. CONCLUSION: Rumi has addressed the content of perfect man in the context of Iranian mysticism and has maintained a personal psychological view toward man and the process of perfection in The Works of Shams and this makes him analogous to the psychologists, such as Moslow, Jung, and Fromm.زمینه و هدف: مولانا عارفی است که در آثار خود، همه ‌جانبه موضوع انسان و انسان کامل را به بحث میگذارد. او در اشعارش به معرّفی یک الگو برای کامل بودن و کامل شدن پرداخته است. مولانا با تأمل بر زندگی معنوی و روحی بشر، برای سوق دادن او به کمال جایگاهی والا در عرفان اسلامی و ایرانی به خود اختصاص داده است. روش مطالعه: این مقاله بر آن است تا با روشی توصیفی-تحلیلی به تطبیق نظریه های برتر کمال در علم روان‌شناسی و غزلیات شمس مولانا بپردازد و انسان کامل را در اندیشه مولانا در کنار روان‌شناسانی چون آلپورت، مزلو، راجرز، فرانکل، فروم، یونگ و پرلز بنشاند. یافته ها: نتایج نشان میدهد در روند رسیدن به کمال اگرچه که وجوه تشابه بسیاری در دیدگاههای همه روان‌شناسان نامبرده و مولانا دیده میشود، مانند تحمّل سختیها و گذر از بحرانها، توجّه به نیازها و مشکلات دیگران، هم افزایی و بسیاری مولّفه های دیگر امّا از میان این نظریه پردازان، نظریات یونگ (29%) و فروم (22%) بیشترین شباهت و نظریات پرلز (4%) و راجرز (7%) کمترین نزدیکی را به عناصر و ویژگیهای «وصال به کمال» در غزلیات مولانا داراست. نتیجه گیری: البتّه که مولانا در بستر عرفان ایران به مفهوم انسان کامل پرداخته، اما شیوه ای شخصی در نگاه روان‌شناسانه به انسان و سیر کمال او در تجربه های ناخودآگاه دیوان شمس دارد، که او را قابل مقایسه با روان‌شناسانی چون مزلو، یونگ و فروم میسازد.روان‌شناسی نوین, روان‌شناسی کمال, انسان کامل, مولانا, غزلیات شمسmodern psychology, growth psychology, perfect man, Rumi, shams sonnetshttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1247.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1247.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/روان‌شناسی کمال (انسان کامل) در غزلیات شمس با تکیه بر نظریه پردازان روان‌شناسانhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Psychology of perfection (perfect man) in Shams lyric poems based on the theorists of psychologists
