In the present article, based on the view of cognitive linguists, the functions of conceptual metaphors in how to perceive and think about the concept of "unity of existence" have been studied. The issue of unity of existence has a special place in the court of Shah Nematullah Vali. The main purpose of this research is to answer to the question of what linguistic mechanisms Shah Nematullah Vali has been able to explain the abstract concept of "unity of existence". METHODOLOGY: The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical. The authors have reviewed first 1000 lyric poems of Shah Nematullah Vali’s Divan. FINDINGS: Conceptual metaphors are formed based on the physical and cultural experiences of each language; Shah Nematullah Vali has also explained the "unity of existence" based on cultural and physical experiences. The findings of this study show that in the first 1000 sonnets of Shah Nematullah"s divan, there are 851 conceptual metaphors about "unity of existence. CONCLUSION: 85% of the conceptual metaphors of Shah Nematullah"s court are related to ontological metaphors, 10% are structural metaphors and 5% are orientation metaphors. Personality (man, perfect man, prophet), objectification (mirror, cup, gold, treasure) and the elements of the universe (sea, water, light and sun) are among the most frequent ontological metaphors of the unity of existence in the lyric poems of Shah Nematullah, which is affected from mythological and religious beliefs. In structural metaphors, the number one, meaning, interior, truth and essence are the most important metaphors of unity of existence. Among orientation metaphors, in and high have higher frequencies.زمینه و هدف: مسئله «وحدت وجود» امری انتزاعی است و پرداختن به آن موجب شکل گیری نظامهای استعاری گوناگون در متن میگردد. در مقاله حاضر، براساس دیدگاه زبانشناسان شناختی، کارکردهای استعاره های مفهومی در چگونگی ادراک و اندیشیدن دربارۀ مفهوم «وحدت وجود» مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. مسئلۀ وحدت وجود در دیوان شاه نعمت الله ولی از جایگاه ویژه ای برخوردار است. هدف اصلی پژوهش، پاسخ به این سؤال است که شاه نعمت الله ولی با بهره گیری از چه سازوکارهای زبانی توانسته است به تبیین مفهوم انتزاعی «وحدت وجود» بپردازد. روش مطالعه: روش تحقیق در این مقاله، توصیفی–تحلیلی است و با مراجعه به دیوان شاه نعمت‌الله ولی، و بررسی 1000 غزل اول آن، استعارهای های مفهومی که در رابطه با موضوع وحدت وجود است، استخراج گردیده و در موضوعات مختلف دسته بندی شده است و سپس مورد تحلیل قرار گرفته است. یافته ها: استعاره های مفهومی براساس تجارب جسمانی و فرهنگی هر زبانی شکل میگیرند؛ شاه نعمت الله ولی نیز براساس تجارب فرهنگی و جسمانی به تبیین «وحدت وجود» پرداخته است. یافته های این پژوهش نشان میدهد که در 1000 غزل اول دیوان شاه نعمت‌الله، 851 استعارۀ مفهومی درباره «وحدت وجود» وجود دارد. نتیجه گیری: 85 درصد از استعاره های مفهومی دیوان شاه نعمت‌الله، مربوط به استعاره های هستی شناختی، 10 درصد استعارۀ ساختاری و 5 درصد نیز استعاره جهتی است. شخص انگاری (انسان، انسان کامل، پیامبر)، شیءشدگی (آینه، جام، زر، گنج) عناصر هستی (دریا، آب، نور و آفتاب) از پربسامدترین استعاره های هستی شناختی وحدت وجود در غزلیات شاه نعمت الله است که ریشه در باورهای اسطوره ای و دینی دارد. در استعاره های ساختاری نیز عدد یک، معنی، باطن، حقیقت و ذات از مهمترین استعاره های وحدت وجود هستند. از بین استعاره های جهتی نیز درون و بالا بسامد بیشتری دارند.شاه نعمت‌الله ولی, غزلیات, وحدت وجود, استعارۀ مفهومیShah Nematullah Vali, lyric poems, unity of existence, conceptual metaphorhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1213.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1213.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/کارکرد استعاره های مفهومی «وحدت وجود» در غزلیات شاه نعمت‌ الله ولیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/The function of conceptual metaphors of "unity of existence" in the lyric poems of Shah Nematullah Vali
