From this cognitive model, 12 functions are mentioned for metonymy: 1. Referential; 2. Highlighting and construal; 3. Illocutionary functions of metonymy; 4. Relationship; 5. Anaphoric reference, cohesion and coherence; 6. Exophoric reference building and the establishment of discourse communities; 7. euphemism; 8. Hyperbole; 9. irony; 10. Vagueness; 11. Evaluation, ideology, and positioning; 12.Creativity METHODOLOGY: This study has been done based on critical_discreptive method. In this study, all methonymy’s functions are surveyed in Bahar’s Poems and then calculated, in order to identify which conceptual methonomy with how much frequency has been used. FINDINGS: The result showed that the poet has been used all 12 metonymies in his poems with different percentage. CONCLUSION: We found three most used roles “referential functions, highlighting and construal, illocutionary functions” and the least used one with the least frequency “relationship-building and the establishment of discourse communities”. The other finding showed that these methonymies are used for transferring poet’s messages like patriotic value and religious ideas, for different group of addressees.زمینه و هدف: این مقاله به بررسی شناختی مجاز در اشعار شاعر معاصر ایران، محمدتقی بهار میپردازد. در این پژوهش، با اتخاذ دیدگاه شناختی مجاز (لیتلمور، 2015) که برای مجاز از دیدگاه شناختی نقشهای ارجاعی مستقیم، برجسته سازی و تفسیری، ارجاع درون‌متنی و انسجام، ارجاع برون‌متنی، کنش گفت غیرمستقیم، رابطه سازی و ایجاد گروههای گفتمانی، حسن تعبیر، اغراق، کنایه، ابهام، ارزیابی، ایدئولوژی، موضع گیری و خلاقیت قائل شده است، به تحلیل انتقادی ـ شناختی مجاز در اشعار ملک‌الشعرا بهار پرداخته میشود تا مشخص شود کدام مجازهای مفهومی با چه بسامدی در اشعار او بکار رفته است. روش مطالعه: در این پژوهش، تقسیم‌بندی دوازده گانۀ علاقه های مجاز براساس چهارچوب نظری لیتلمور (2015) از دیدگاه شناختی در دیوان اشعار محمدتقی بهار با روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار میگیرد. همچنین در پژوهش حاضر، در امر توصیف، از توزیع فراوانی و درصد استفاده شده است. یافته ها: براساس شواهد موجود از اشعار بهار، تمامی دوازده نقش مجاز در ابیات ملاحظه گردید. این موضوع، تأییدی بر گفتۀ زبانشناسان شناختی است که معتقدند مجاز در سراسر زبان جاری و ساری است. بهار در مجموعۀ اشعار خود، به میزانهای مختلفی از هریک از دوازده نقش مجاز بهره برده است. نتیجه گیری: نتیجۀ این بررسی نشان میدهد سه نقش پربسامد در اشعار بهار «نقش ارجاعی مستقیم»، «برجسته سازی و تفسیری» و «کنش‌گفت غیرمستقیم» و کم‌بسامدترین نقش مجاز «رابطه سازی و ایجاد گروه های گفتمانی» است.زبانشناسی, معنی‌شناسی, مجاز, محمدتقی بهار, لیتلمورCognitive linguistics, Cognitive Semantics, Metonymy, Malk Alshoara Bahar, Poemhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1151.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1151.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل انتقادی شناختی مجاز در اشعار ملک‎الشعرای بهارhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Cognitive_Critical Analysis of Metonymy in Malk Alshoara Bahar’s Poems
