Examining the various dimensions of allegory is an important step in identifying Attar"s works and his techniques for understanding concepts and conveying the message. The Mosibat Nameh as an allegorical work that narrates the spiritual journey of the seeker of thought is a good example for this study. The main question of the research is how Attar has used allegory and its types in the presentation of mystical and moral concepts and better understanding of these themes for the audience, and as a mystic what is his view about this literary genre? The data were gathered through library method and note taking and then they were analyzed. According to the findings of the research in the Mosibat Nameh, among the narrative allegories, the most used is the parable and among the types of descriptive allegories is the using of proverbs. It can be understand that Attar has used allegorical fable more to convey complex mystical concepts than word arrangement to convey words.تمثیل یکی از مهمترین انواع ادبی است که جایگاه مهمی در ادبیات فارسی دارد و در انتقال مفاهیم عقلی، ذهنی، و انتزاعی به مخاطبان بسیار مؤثر و کارآمد است. بررسی ابعاد گوناگون تمثیل گام مهمی در شناسایی آثار عطار و شگردهای او برای تفهیم مفاهیم و انتقال پیام است. مصیبت نامه به عنوان اثری تمثیلی که سفر روحانی سالک فکرت را روایت میکند، نمونۀ خوبی برای این بررسی است. پرسش اصلی تحقیق این است که عطار در مصیبت نامه چگونه از تمثیل و انواع آن در طرح مفاهیم عرفانی و اخلاقی و تفهیم بهتر این مضامین برای مخاطب بهره گرفته است و نوع نگاه او به عنوان عارف نسبت‌به این شگرد ادبی چگونه است؟ این پژوهش به شیوۀ کتابخانه ای و ازطریق فیش برداری به توصیف و تحلیل داده ها پرداخته است. بر اساس یافته ‌های تحقیق در مصیبت نامه از میان تمثیلهای روایی بیشترین استفاده مربوط به پارابل و در میان انواع تمثیلهای توصیفی مربوط به ارسال‌المثل است. از این امر چنین برمی‌آید که عطار برای انتقال بهتر مفاهیم پیچیدۀ عرفانی بیشتر از حکایات تمثیلی بهره برده است تا آرایش کلام.عطار, حکایت, تمثیل, استعارۀ تمثیلیه, تشبیه تمثیلی, مصیبت نامهAttar, fabale, allegory, allegorical metaphor, allegorical simile, Mosibat Namehhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1034.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1034.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/گستردگی و گوناگونی تمثیل در مصیبت نامۀ عطارhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/The breadth and variety of allegory in Attar's Mosibat Nameh
