Accordingly, the historical study of lexical items and expressions constitutes an essential area of linguistic and literary research. The present study aims to determine the position of Nafsat al-Masdour, one of the distinguished masterpieces of ornate Persian prose composed in the seventh century AH, within the historical development of classical Persian prose, while examining the extent of its indebtedness to earlier texts and its influence on subsequent works. METHODOLOGY: This study adopts a historical-analytical approach based on the computerized corpus developed by the Lexicography Department of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, complemented by an examination of selected sources. After providing a brief introduction to Nafsat al-Masdour and its author, the study extracts distinctive lexical items, expressions, compounds, and idiomatic constructions. Drawing on selected evidence from Nafsat al-Masdour and corresponding examples found in earlier and later texts, it investigates their historical development, the extent of textual influence and reception, and their position within the lexical tradition of Persian literature. FINDINGS: The findings indicate that a considerable number of the lexical items, technical terms, and compound expressions employed in Nafsat al-Masdour were derived from texts that predate its author, Shihab al-Din Muhammad Kharandizi Zaydari Nasawi. Conversely, many of these linguistic features were subsequently adopted, repeated, and further developed by later authors. Moreover, Nasawi employed a number of rare or unique lexical items and expressions that, according to the sources examined in this study, have not been attested in any other extant Persian text. CONCLUSION: The findings demonstrate that Nafsat al-Masdour constitutes a significant link in the transmission and continuity of Persian vocabulary and idiomatic expressions across successive literary periods and occupies a distinguished position in the historical development of Persian prose. While preserving the linguistic heritage of earlier authors, the work also played a substantial role in transmitting lexical and phraseological features to later texts. Consequently, Nafsat al-Masdour should be regarded as an important source for investigating the historical development of Persian vocabulary and phraseology.زمینه و هدف: توجه به سیر تاریخی کلمات در متون و آثار ادبی، به عنوان بخشی از میراث ارزشمند فرهنگی و ملّی ما، در شناخت تحول زبان فارسی و پیوند میان متون کهن اهمیت ویژه ای دارد. ازاین‌رو، بررسی تاریخی واژه ها و اصطلاحات متون ادبی ضرورتی انکارناپذیر است. پژوهش پیشِ‌رو با هدف تبیین جایگاه نفثه المصدور، از آثار برگزیدۀ نثر فنّی در قرن هفتم هجری قمری، در سیر تاریخی نثر کهن فارسی و بررسی میزان تأثیرپذیری آن از متون پیشین و تأثیرگذاری آن بر آثار پس از خود انجام شده است. روشها: این پژوهش با رویکرد تاریخی- تحلیلی و بر پایۀ پیکرۀ رایانه ای گروه فرهنگ‌نویسی فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی، همراه با مطالعۀ منابع منتخب انجام شده است. در این پژوهش، پس از معرفی اجمالی نفثه المصدورو مؤلف آن، لغات، اصطلاحات، ترکیبات و تعبیرات خاص استخراج و با بهره گیری از شواهد منتخب نفثه المصدور و نمونه های متناظر در منابع پیشین و پسین، سیر تاریخی، میزان اثرپذیری و تأثیرگذاری و جایگاه این عناصر زبانی در متون فارسی بیان شده است. یافته ها: بررسیها نشان میدهد که بخشی از واژه ها، اصطلاحات و ترکیبات نفثه المصدور برگرفته از متون پیش از شهاب‌الدین محمد خرندزی زیدری نسوی مؤلف نفثه المصدور است و درمقابل، شماری از همین عناصر زبانی در آثار نویسندگان پس از او مورد توجه، اقتباس و تکرار قرار گرفته اند. افزون‌براین، نسوی در این اثر از برخی لغات و اصطلاحات کم‌کاربرد یا منحصربه فرد بهره برده است که براساس منابع بررسی‌شده، در متن دیگری به کار نرفته اند. نتیجه گیری: یافته های پژوهش نشان میدهد نفثه المصدور حلقه ای مهم در انتقال و استمرار واژه ها و تعبیرات میان متون فارسی است و جایگاهی شاخص در سیر تاریخی زبان و نثر فارسی دارد. این اثر، ضمن بهره گیری از میراث زبانی پیشینیان، در انتقال بخشی از ظرفیتهای واژگانی و اصطلاحی به آثار پس از خود نیز نقش مؤثری ایفا کرده و ازاین‌رو، یکی از منابع ارزشمند برای بررسی تحول تاریخی واژه ها و اصطلاحات زبان فارسی به ‌شمار می‌آید.نفثه المصدور, نثر فنّی, لغات و ترکیبات, بررسی تطبیقی, سیر تاریخی.Nafsat al-Masdour, terms and expressions, comparative analysis, historical course.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2063.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2063.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/نوادر لغات و اصطلاحات نفثه المصدور در میانۀ تأثیر و تأثّرhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Lexical and phrasal rarities of Nafsat al-Masdour and its impacts and impression from other sources
