This research aims to examine the reflection of ancient Iranian myths in the poetry of Farrokhi Sistani in order to analyze and evaluate the connection between the poetry of this great poet of the Khorasani style and the mythical heritage of Iran. METHODOLOGY: The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical with the help of library studies and documentary methods, which have been carried out by examining Farrokhi"s odes and referring to Iranian mythological sources such as the Avesta, Shahnameh, Pahlavi texts, and contemporary research. FINDINGS: In Farrokhi’s poems, traces of ancient Iranian myths can be seen, especially myths such as Fereydoun, Jamshid, Houshang, and prominent heroes such as Rostam, Esfandiar, and animals and sacred places such as Simorgh, Homa, Rakhsh, and Alborz Mountain, which serve the poet’s goals and objectives in the semantic and ideological structure of the poem. CONCLUSION: The results of the research show that Farrokhi Sistani, by utilizing Iranian myths, especially with a special look at the Shahnameh, has recreated cultural identity and legitimized the Ghaznavid rulers, especially Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi, and the conquests and wars of the glorified ones. The use of these myths indicates the deep connection between Farrokhi Sistani’s poetry and Iranian mythological culture and symbols and its continuity in post-Islamic literature.زمینه و هدف: فرّخی سیستانی از جمله شاعران بزرگ سبک خراسانی است که با تبحر در فن شاعری بویژه قصیده سرایی، تصاویری نمادین و اساطیری را با بهره گیری از اسطوره های کهن ایرانی بویژه با تأسی از شاهنامه ارائه داده است. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی بازتاب اساطیر کهن ایرانی در شعر فرّخی سیستانی انجام شده است تا پیوند میان شعر این شاعر بزرگ سبک خراسانی و میراث اسطوره ای ایران زمین را تحلیل و ارزیابی نماید. روش پژوهش: روش تحقیق در این جستار توصیفی ـ تحلیلی بکمک بهره گیری از مطالعات کتابخانه ای و روش اسنادی است که با بررسی قصاید فرّخی و ارجاع بمنابع اسطوره شناسی ایرانی مانند اوستا، شاهنامه، متون پهلوی و پژوهشهای معاصر انجام شده است. یافته های پژوهش: در اشعار فرّخی ردّ‌پای اساطیر کهن ایرانی بویژه اسطوره هایی چون فریدون، جمشید، هوشنگ و پهلوانان برجسته ای چون رستم، اسفندیار و جانوران و مکانهای مقدّسی چون سیمرغ، هما،رخش و البرز کوه قابل مشاهده است که در ساختار معنایی و ایدئولوژیک شعر در خدمت اغراض و مقاصد مدحی شاعر قرار گرفته است. نتایج پژوهش: نتایج حاصل از پژوهش نشان میدهد که فرّخی سیستانی با بهره گیری از اسطوره های ایرانی بویژه با نگاه خاصی به شاهنامه، به بازآفرینی هویّت فرهنگی و مشروعیّت‌بخشی به حاکمان غزنوی بویژه سلطان محمود غزنوی، فتوحات و جنگاوریهای ممدوحان پرداخته است. استفاده از این اساطیر نشان از پیوند عمیق شعر فرّخی سیستانی با فرهنگ و نمادهای اسطوره ای ایران و استمرار آن در ادبیّات پس از اسلام دارد.فرّخی سیستانی, نمادهای اساطیری, سبک خراسانی, شعر مدحیFarrokhi Sistani.
