What is the text, what is the meaning, what signs are there to reach this meaning and what is the role of the audience in front of the text. The origin of this science goes back to the interpretation of holy texts. Trying to understand the true meaning that only the possessors of knowledge can understand. METHODOLOGY: The method of data collection was library and descriptive-analytical method was used for data analysis. FINDINGS: The topic under discussion in the science of hermeneutics is texts, and how the audience understands the text and their unanswered questions is a topic that is followed in this science. Traditional hermeneutics believe that the text has a definite meaning that must be discovered. In contrast to modern hermeneutics, they have declared the death of the author, in the sense that the text is re-created with each reading. Hermeneutic discussions have also been extended to literary texts due to the similarities between literary texts and holy texts, and one of the books that has a lot of potential for analysis from the hermeneutic angle is Masnawi Ma"ani. CONCLUSION: The results of the research show that Rumi has used donkey, snake, wolf, dog, lion, cow, mouse, etc. in order of frequency as a symbol to introduce the self.زمینه و هدف: علم هرمنوتیک‌، جریان فهم و شیوه های آن را بررسی میکند. اینکه متن چیست، معنا کدام است، چه نشانه هایی برای رسیدن به این معنا وجود دارد و تکلیف مخاطب در برابر متن چگونه است. ریشۀ پیدایش این علم به تفسیر متون مقدس برمیگردد. تلاش برای فهم معنای حقیقی که تنها صاحبان معرفت قادر به درک آنند. روشها: شیوۀ گردآوری داده ها به صورت کتابخانه ای بوده و از روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی برای تحلیل داده ها استفاده شده است. یافته ها: ‌موضوع مورد بحث در علم هرمنوتیک‌، متون است و چگونگی فهم مخاطب از متن و پرسشهای بی‌منتهایشان موضوعی است که در این علم دنبال میشود. هرمنوتیکهای سنتی معتقدند متن دارای معنایی قطعی است که باید آن را کشف کرد. در مقابل هرمنوتیکهای مدرن، مرگ مؤلف را اعلام کرده اند، به این معنا که متن با هر بار خواندن دوباره آفریده میشود. مباحث هرمنوتیکی به جهت شباهتهای متون ادبی با متون مقدس، به متون ادبی نیز کشیده شده است و یکی از کتبی که ظرفیتهای زیادی برای تحلیل از زاویۀ هرمنوتیکی دارد، مثنوی معنوی است. نتیجه گیری: نتایج تحقیق نشان میدهد که مولانا به ترتیب بسامد از حیوانات خر، مار، گرگ، سگ، شیر، گاو، موش و... در جایگاه نماد برای معرفی نفس استفاده کرده است.هرمنوتیک, شلایرماخر, مثنوی معنوی, نمادهای نفسhermeneutics, Schleiermacher, spiritual masnavi, soul symbolshttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1708.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1708.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل هرمنوتیکی نمادهای نفس در مثنوی معنوی بر مبنای هرمنوتیک نوین شلایرماخرhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Hermeneutic analysis of the symbols of the soul in Masnavi based on Schleiermacher's modern hermeneutics
