According to Jung, archetypes are the product of repeated human experiences in life and are embedded in the human unconscious. Based on this approach (literary criticism), the hero"s journey to achieve individuality, perfection and maturity is possible by relying on the presence of archetypes in the life of each person. The aim of the current research is to analyze and investigate the archetype of the hero"s journey and his path to glory in the novel Symphony of the Dead. METHODOLOGY: The research method in this thesis is descriptive-analytical, based on library studies and document analysis, and analysis of the novel Symphony of the Dead based on Jung"s archetypal critique. FINDINGS: Research findings: The research findings indicate that in the novel Symphony of the Dead, due to the psychological approach in the novel, the presence of the archetype of shadow and anima in the path of the hero"s honor is noticeable. CONCLUSION: Research results: The results of the research in this article show that Aydin, the main hero of the story, faces the archetype of the shadow, namely his father and Orhan, and although he was able to take the path of study and education against his father"s opinion, in the end, with The death of the sister (existential anima) prevents the continuation of the path.زمینه و هدف: نقد کهن‌الگویی یکی از جمله نظریّه های مدرن نقد ادبی معاصر و مبتنی بر الگوی نقد روانشناسی است که بر اساس آراء و نظریّات یونگ به تحلیل و بررسی میپردازد. از نظرگاه یونگ کهن‌الگوها، محصول تجارب مکرر بشر در زندگی است و در ناخودآگاه انسان تعبیه شده است. بر اساس این این رویکرد (نقد ادبی) سفر قهرمان بمنظور رسیدن به فردیت، کمال و بلوغ با تکیه بر حضور آرکی‌تایپها در زندگی هر فردی میسر میگردد. هدف پژوهش حاضر، تحلیل و بررسی کهن‌الگوی سفر قهرمان و مسیر تشرّف او در رمان سمفونی مردگان است. روش پژوهش: روش پژوهش در این جستار، بشیوۀ توصیفی تحلیلی، بر مبنای مطالعات کتابخانه ای و روش سندکاوی و بررسی و تحلیل رمان سمفونی مردگان بر مبنای نقد کهن‌الگویی یونگ است. یافته های پژوهش: یافته های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که در رمان سمفونی مردگان بدلیل رویکرد روانشناختی موجود در بنمایۀ این رمان، حضور کهن‌الگوی سایه و آنیما در مسیر تشرّف قهرمان بشکل قابل توجّهی مشخص میباشد. نتایج پژوهش: نتایج پژوهش در این مقاله نشان میدهد که آیدین، قهرمان اصلی داستان در مسیر تشرّف و تعالی خود با کهن الگوی سایه یعنی پدر و اورهان مواجه است و گرچه توانست برخلاف نظر پدر مسیر درس و تحصیل را در پیش بگیرد، اما سرانجام با مرگ خواهر (آنیمای وجودی) از ادامۀ مسیر بازمیماند.سفر قهرمان, سمفونی مردگان, عباس معروفی, نقد کهن‌الگویی یونگ.Hero's Journey, Symphony of the Dead, Abbas Maroufi, critique of Jung's archetype.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1687.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1687.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/نقد کهن الگویی سفر قهرمان و موانع تشرّف وی در رمان سمفونی مردگان اثر عباس معروفیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/An archetypal critique of the hero's journey and the obstacles to his honor in the novel Symphony of the Dead by Abbas Maroufi
