With an archetypal approach and considering Greek myths, he has represented new dimensions of each character based on their attributes. Bolen"s comments have a favorable effect in presenting a new reading of fictional texts and the characters in them. To this credit, in the research, the characters of the novel "Shazdeh Ehtjab" by Hoshang Golshiri have been examined based on Shinoda Bolen"s archetypal opinions. METHODOLOGY: The research method in this research is descriptive and analytical, which was done in a library form by studying sources, scanning, and classifying the materials. FINDINGS: In the entirety of this collection, we have witnessed the influence of the archetypes of Poseidon, Zeus, Ares and Dionysus in the inner and outer worlds of the characters, and the result of this influence was sometimes positive and sometimes negative. CONCLUSION: The results have shown that Prince Ehtjab (Khosro) and the grandfather are the most complex characters in the mentioned novel and have signs of the archetypes of Zeus (power-seeking) and Ares (warrior and violent). Both of them are power-hungry, hot-tempered and violent and do not want to be subordinates. Of course, the characteristic of Zeus is very prominent in the character of the grandfather, but the Prince of Ihtjab fluctuates a lot in this regard. Poseidon"s archetypal character (explosive emotions and instincts) also appears in the prince"s character, he uses the contemptuous look of others to hide his personal weaknesses. In general, the dominant archetypes in this novel are Zeus and Ares in the characters of Prince, Grandmother and Fakhr al-Nesa.زمینه و هدف: تا کنون نظریه های متنوعی در شاخه های گوناگون علمی دربارۀ مقولۀ شخصیت مطرح شده که آرای جین شینودا بولن از آن جمله است. او با رویکردی کهن الگویی و نظرداشت اسطوره های یونانی، به بازنمایی ابعاد جدیدی از هر شخصیت بر مبنای صفاتی که دارند، پرداخته است. نظرات بولن در ارائۀ خوانشی نوین از متون داستانی و شخصیتهای حاضر در آن، تأثیری مطلوب دارد. به این اعتبار، در پژوهش حاضر، شخصیتهای رمان شازده احتجاب از هوشنگ گلشیری بر اساس آرای کهن الگویی شینودا بولن بررسی شده است. روش مطالعه: روش تحقیق در این پژوهش، توصیفی و تحلیلی است که به شکل کتابخانه ای و با مطالعۀ منابع، فیشبرداری، و طبقه بندی مطالب صورت پذیرفته است. یافته ها: در کلیت این مجموعه شاهد نفوذ کهن الگوهای پوزیدون، زئوس، آرس و دیونوسوس در دنیای درون و بیرون شخصیتها بوده ایم که برآیند این اثرگذاری گاهی مثبت و گاهی منفی بوده است. نتیجه گیری: نتایج نشان داده است که شازده احتجاب (خسرو) و پدربزرگ پیچیده ترین شخصیتها در رمان مذکور هستند و نشانه هایی از کهن‌الگوی زئوس (قدرت طلبی) و آرس (جنگجو و خشن) را دارند. آن دو قدرت طلب، تندخو و خشن هستند و تمایلی به زیردست بودن ندارند. البته ویژگی زئوسی در شخصیت پدربزرگ بسیار برجسته است، اما شازده احتجاب در این زمینه نوسانهای بسیاری دارد. در شخصیت شازده کهن الگوی پوزیدون (عواطف انفجاری و غرایز) نیز نمود پیدا میکند؛ او از نگاه تحقیرآمیز بالا به پایین نسبت به دیگران جهت پنهان کردن ضعفهای شخصیتی خود بهره میبرد. در مجموع کهن الگوهای غالب در این رمان، زئوس و آرس در شخصیتهای شازده، پدربزگ و فخرالنساء میباشند.هوشنگ گلشیری, شازده احتجاب, شخصیت, جین بولن, کهن الگو.Hoshang Golshiri, Shazdeh Ehtjab, character, Jane Bullen, archetype.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1534.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1534.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل شخصیت مردان در رمان شازده احتجاب از هوشنگ گلشیری بر اساس آرای کهن-الگویی جین شینودا بولنhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Analyzing the character of men in the novel Shazdeh Ehtejab by Houshang Golshiri based on the views of the archetypal Jane Shinoda Bullen
