The poets in Qajar period were pioneers and the most popular contemporary poets in Iran. The most part of popular literature includes slangs and irony which are popular among people; and as the language of such terms is specially the language of ordinary people, it is colloquial. The works of such poets are intellectual assets of nation and social heritage of a tribe or society; thus, they shouldn"t be ignored. For identification of slangs and irony in poetry, the present study investigated nearly 876.141 lines of works of poets of Qajar period including Saba, Vesal, Qaani Shirazi, Foroughi Bastami, Yaghma Jandaghi, Soroush Isfahani, Iraj Mirza, Fathollah Khan Sheibani, Mahmood Khan Maleko Shoara, and Shorideh Shirazi; the findings demonstrated that Iraj Mirza by using 927 slangs in his works was ranked the first and Forougi Bastami by using 61 slangs was ranked the last among other poets. The authors of present study attempted to investigate the application of slangs and irony in Iraj Mirza works in detail in order to provide useful insights for those who love Persian Literature. بی تردید کیفیت ادبی هر عصر بستگی تمام به اوضاع سیاسی و اجتماعی آن عصر دارد. شاعران دوره قاجار از پیشگامان و از مردمی ترین شاعران معاصر ایران است. بخش وسیعی از ادبیات عامه اصطلاحات عامیانه و کنایات است که در میان مردم متداول است و زبان این اصطلاحات چون اختصاص به عامه مردم دارد. محاوره ای است. و این آثار جزو سرمایه های معنوی هر ملت و میراث اجتماعی یک قوم، یا یک جامعه است. به همین خاطر نباید در بوته فراموشی قرار گیرند. مقاله حاضر در بر دارنده نتیجه پژوهشی است که در مجموعه آثار شاعران دوره قاجار از جمله صبا، وصال، قاآنی شیرازی، فروغی بسطامی، یغمای جندقی، سروش اصفهانی، ایرج میرزا، فتح الله خان شیبانی، محمودخان ملک الشعراء، شوریده شیرازی به منظور شناسایی اصطلاحات عامیانه و کنایات در اشعار شاعران با حدود تقریبی 141،876 بیت انجام شده است که ایرج میرزا با 927 اصطلاح عامیانه رتبه نخست و فروغی بسطامی با 61 اصطلاح عامیانه رتبه آخر را به خود اختصاص داده اند.ادبیات عامه, ایرج میرزا, اصطلاحات عامیانه, کنایات عامیانهpopular literature, Iraj Mirza; slangs; popular ihttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/147.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/147.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/میزان و چگونگی کاربرد استفاده از اصطلاحات عامیانه و کنایات در شعر دوره قاجار با بررسی ده شاعر و تکیه بیشتر بر ایرج میرزاhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Identification of the Extent and the Way Slangs and Irony used in Poetry during Qajar Period Through Investigation of Works of Ten Poets and Relying Mostly on Iraj Mirza’s Works
