By utilizing the components of “Magic Realism”, Aram bestows Boy Snails (2014) a fanciful atmosphere and illustrates various types of love in the framework of this literary school. Characters’ love behaviours to which Sternberg (1998) refers as “love story” is built on specific social and cultural factors which are, in turn, responsible for the survival of their love relations. This study aims at determining the degree of overlapping between characters’ love stories with Sternberg’s theory through stylistic analysis of magic realism strategies in the selected novel. METHODOLOGY: This interdisciplinary research is conducted by using descriptive-analytic methodology. Analysis of data is made by using SPSS software and the frequencies of magic realism components as well as eight forms of love in Sternberg"s theory are determined through Chi-square results. FINDINGS: The findings indicate a meaningful difference in the frequencies of magic realism components and eight types of love in Boy Snails (2014). “Infatuation” has the highest frequency among eight forms of love which is looked upon by the writer from “Multiple-points of View”. CONCLUSION: In Boy Snails, “love stories” which are narrated in polyphonic manner from “Multiple-points of View” overlap with Sternberg"s theory. “Fantasy story” has higher frequency and it suits with the novel’s atmosphere of magic realism. Although the writer has tried to show the privilege of “consummate love” for bringing it into premier discourse, the chararcters fail to achive this ideal relationship in the novel.زمینه و هدف: نهضت بومی‌سازی ادبی در مسیر رشد و تعالی خویش قرار دارد و رئالیسم جادویی نیز توجه ادیبان معاصر ایران را به خود جلب کرده است. احمد آرام با بهره گیری از راهبردهای رئالیسم جادویی، به فضای رمان حلزونهای پسر چهره ای رؤیایی میبخشد و جلوه های گوناگون عشق را در چارچوب این مکتب ادبی ترسیم میکند. الگوی رفتار عاشقانۀ شخصیتها که اشتنبرگ آن را «قصۀ عشق» (1998) مینامد، بر پایۀ عواملی شکل میگیرد که علت دوام یا سستی روابط عشقی آنان را معیّن میسازد. هدف از این پژوهش آن است که از رهگذر واکاوی مؤلفه های سبکسازِ رئالیسم جادویی موجود در متن رمان، میزان همپوشانی «قصه های عشق» شخصیتها را با نظریۀ اشتنبرگ بررسی کند. روش مطالعه: روش تحقیق در چارچوب پژوهشهای بین رشته ای و بصورت توصیفی-تحلیلی با استفاده از نرم افزار 25SPSS است. میزان فراوانی و درصد وقوع مؤلفه های رئالیسم جادویی و حالات گوناگون عشق بر مبنای آزمون خی دو انجام خواهد شد. یافته ها: در رمان حلزونهای پسر (1393) میان مؤلفه های رئالیسم جادویی و حالات هشت گانۀ عشق تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد. «عشق سودائی» از میان حالات گوناگون عشق دارای فراوانی و درصد وقوع بیشتری است که نویسنده از «زاویه های دید متغیر» به آن نگریسته است. نتیجه گیری: در رمان حلزونهای پسر، قصه های عشق که از زاویه های دید گوناگون و به شیوه ای چند صدایی روایت میشوند با نظریۀ اشتنبرگ همپوشانی کامل دارند. «قصۀ خیال» عشاق جلوۀ بیشتری در متن این اثر دارد و با فضای رئالیسم جادویی آن نیز همخوانی دارد. هرچند نویسنده تلاش کرده برتری «عشق آرمانی» را بر سویه های دیگر عشق گفتمان سازی کند، شخصیتهای این رمان در دستیابی به این عشق ناکام میمانند.اشتنبرگ, بومی سازی, رئالیسم جادویی, عشقhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1406.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1406.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/جلوه های عشق در ادبیات بومی رئالیسم جادویی: بررسی سبک شناسی رمان حلزونهای پسرhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Love in Localized Literature of of Magic Realism: Stylistic Analysis of Boy Snails
